We are still waiting for you to fix our spec, MISTWEAVER. You are paid for that, for God’s sake. Do you developers still play the game itself, or don’t you even play it anymore? FIX THIS!
Blizzard isn’t going to make any major changes while AWC is ongoing. Minor tweaks maybe, but nothing that greatly alters the PVP landscape & compatibility. There’s a window where they might in early Feb & mid-March, but I doubt we see anything this month.
While I agree that the lack of attention for MW is aggravating, I have to say I wholly disagree with calling the developers lazy.
There is a mountain of work to be done with the game and project managers decide which work is valuable to Blizzard and the player base and which is not.
I suspect fixing Mistweaver is on the list of work to be done, but it is a lower priority than most of us would prefer.
They best way to change the priority is to get community spotlight on the shortcomings. This is not accomplished by disparaging the intelligence or motives of Blizzard employees.
Curious if a single team is running MW in the AWC.
People are paying for a product and are disappointed that the faulty product hasn’t been fixed. Of course people are frustrated, especially with how mw were totally ignored by this recent fix.
The only way shadow priest got reworked 9.0 was after almost an entire expansion of complaining to Blizzard. People need to keep calling their attention to it.
I agree MWs need help, having said that I wouldn’t expect any major changes until the next major patch.
Haha, the worst part about that is our (the Monk) dev since MoP actually ran point on the Shadow Priest revamp. Left Blizz altogether shortly after he finished.
Hah no they lazy this time.
Most of the issues with everything were WELL known in Beta (Sub rogue PVP, MW Mana issues, etc) and were largely ignored. There is a huge article about a Forum where Blizz basically told people off that THEY know whats fun and ignored most feedback
MW will see some changes when there is a break from Tier 1. Right now the meta is set and blizzard does not like messing with classes while people are mid raid locks outs. I think the reason you wont see MW changes is because they have a larger overhaul coming for the spec, and don’t want to reallyc change how things are setup for now. The only time blizzard makes changes, are when things are out of control. Unfortunately MW isn’t out of control in the way that would warrant a hot fix. I believe MW will see its time again. ITs also important to know that a Tribrid classs like Monk does not deserve to have all 3 of their specs be a top performing specialization.
A safe bet would be, imo, that WW will get nerfed either directly, or fall off due to scaling. MW will poke its head around the corner then. We just cant justify having 3 top tier specs, its not fair.
I hope they buff MW and Holy priest soon.
I highly doubt cutting mana costs by lets say 30% would effect arena PVP all that much.
Yes Chris Kaleiki right? Not really a great sign for future balance.
Buff Please
Not only that, but any major changes they do to legendary/covenants/skills likely won’t happen until the first major patch. They might do minor tweaks here and there, but no big changes.
Devs rarely choose what they work on.
Great name.
imagine being such a small indy company they cant even at least reduce our mana cost of all spells by x% or increase our mana regen by x% in a tuesday update.
I think we’ll see tuning this week
I see. Aren’t Pallys also a “Tribrid?”
WW is a top performing specialization but no one is asking for MW to be the best healer. It’s hardly viable. To say that MW buffs would make all three Monk specs top tier is ridiculous. Can’t say I play a Brewmaster but it is definitely not a top tier spec either.
