i’m on a dead realm and i’m wondering what are the absolute minimum requirements necessary to go around and farm Netherwing eggs?
trying to make my time here alone worthwhile before transfering.
I mean, is the goal netherwing eggs or netherwing reputation?
I’m not a subject matter expert but most of my eggs came from the mines. I just queued up on the other quests down there and in the course of an evening would find 0-5 eggs. Helps if you have a solid solo character able to handle large groups.
I did it with a prot paladin and took down tons of water.

Nope, they’re just rare. You can get them from killing mobs, herbing, and mining too. You can also turn in those herbs/ore/skins (if skinning, but that doesn’t give extra chances for eggs other than the mob kill) daily for rep/gold too.
Best to do the dailies alongside it.
The eggs have always been there once netherwing was unlocked. They are on mobs, resources, or the ground itself. But farming them for reputation isn’t exactly efficient. It’s best to just do the quests each day and turn in eggs as a bonus. No need to save any eggs btw because no quests shut off before exalted.
