So I am doing a retro run right now to get both mounts. I have 35 characters so that should be enough trys to get lucky right? Are GMOD and the tidal storm below 1% now with the buff or a bit more?
They should be about 5% but I haven’t had any luck with G.M.O.D so far. 14 attempts. I do like each character has 4 goes tho.
(Already had Jaina’s so I won’t comment on it)
I got both off Jaina [one in mythic, other in LFR] pretty quickly. The 5% is helpful. Good luck!

if all you need is gmod remember that it drops from jaina lfr at the same rate as every other difficulty so you can chain attempts together pretty quick.

No no I want both. Goblin and shaman need a cool mount.
Both drop in LFG on Jaina…is how I got GMOD. 
clear lfr jaina, tp out and do mythic jaina with skip is still faster than running the whole raid on mythic, again if all you care about is the mounts anyway.
Gmod dropped now I skip for the elemental

Only GMOD drops in LFR unless I’m mistaken. Glacial Tidestorm should be mythic only.
Remember to talk to the NPC immediately inside the raid to skip right to Jaina.
I’m sure others said it already but just wanted to repeat.

My mistake, I did get the glacial out of mythic Jaina. Still a nice easy, and extra chance for GMOD in LFR if you need it.
After work I will farm Jaina for the last mount then I am done for good.
Got G.M.O.D last night on my … 4th? … run of the raid.
I haven’t been able to find as much time as I’d like to be making use of the event, but my luck with mounts seems to be running a little above average.
That’s how mounts that drop based on a random chance work.
For every ‘this is a great buff I got it in 3 runs or less’, there is someone at 40 plus runs who still doesn’t have it saying ‘buff is clearly broken’.
I did manage to get the Tidestorm yesterday, but if I was able to choose I would rather have gotten the G.M.O.D. Getting that one would free up a looooot of time. 
I have run mythic with 10 separate characters and have had neither drop
