What are the details of the "Enhanced character boost?"

It just says “Prepare for the War Within with this enhanced character boost that is end-game ready for Dragonflight.”

Probably it’s because now it’s level 70 and not 60.

Doesn’t it also include a level 20 renown boost for the original factions in DF?

Lvl 70. 424 equips. 20 renown with base factions. 10 renown with Loamm. All dragon forms unlocked from start.

Basically a “Why did we even play?” boost. And for some people they will seriously be wondering about that with all the complaints about renown 15 being needed for AFK flying and I don’t know how, but how many players just don’t play the game they pay for.

Yeah my 446 ilvl holy paladin main that I slaved and grinded M+ and mythic raid for is just peanuts now lol.

I don’t have above like 12 renown on ANY Character and you just swipe for 20 all renown? Insane.

It does set a bad precedent, you don’t have to grind out all renown in a week, but those players who did go through all the effort to get everything unlocked are invalidated by someone who comes along and just swipes a credit card, and for those who don’t play for the first 12 months, it’s actually cheaper.

And for players who don’t care for KSM, AOTC and the likes, they can very easily not play for 12 months and still get whatever done they want outside of instanced content AND have the advantage of skipping so much grinding.

Because you liked the game for the past year. Shocking, I know.

The expansion is almost over. It’s irrelevant. It’s just cosmetics. And it’s still not max renown.

I’m not invalidated. I got my stuff way before them. I didn’t grind anything. I hit max renown passively playing the game the way I wanted to.

There will not be another major patch. Again… no one cares that someone is getting a bunch of cosmetics and not even max renown this late in the game. It’s irrelevant.

Pretty sure the thread is done now. It’s not something cryptic like others seem to occasionally speculate. Marketing a boost to sound cooler than it is.
