What classes go SPLAT the easiest? I know I shouldn’t be asking this question from a pally with 26247 defensives. But I was just curious what classes are the squishiest right now? Do they have any hop in TWW?
Hmmm. Evokers?
Hunter
No matter what people say, its hunter
Mages I guess. Evokers too, but they can heal themselves.
It’s not hunters or warlocks, they have pets and demons respectively to tank for them. I’ve found that mages go splat pretty quickly. They remind me of Jerry Quarry and his glass jaw and bleeding eyes.
Thanks for noticing, lol.
Turtle is bright and green and is basically a “Kill me soon!” ability in PvP, everyone knows the Hunter is meat as soon as the shield disappears.
And that’s basically our main defensive, the others do less. It doesn’t remove DoTs, either, I’ve died to Rogue bleeds under it.
Kiting people also sucks, because everyone has infinite gap closers and root breaks now, but Hunters haven’t been given more tools to offset the mobility gains from everyone else.
the amount of clueless people commenting is insane hahaha…warlocks, mages, seriously??
The worst classes to survive now are shamans and hunters
fire mages.
mages have no self heals at all. dunno if arcane evocation still heals. and no cauterize doesnt really count cause you have to die first. thats like saying rogues cheat death is a self heal. mages do lots of damage but if you get enough mobs on you your going down.
I always thought people exaggerated just how fragile hunters are, so ended up gearing one up and played it a bit
Even in pve scenarios, the amount of stuff I just entirely ignored as a mage or even my DK geared up and then as hunter its just “Oh guess pray I get healed in the next .3 seconds or I die cuz I already used everything just to survive the unavoidable aoe”
Shaman may have bad defensive kits, but they can heal themselves with earthen wall, or pop the pet to keep mobs busy then healing. I have seen some shamans survived through healing.
Hunters. Their toolkit hasn’t kept up with the times.
Pffft. Hunters.
Shamans WISH they had the defensives of Hunters. If you still die despite having three CD’s and a bevy of CC options, that’s a you problem.
Shamans have it the WORST in survivability compared to anyone else.
Hunters?! Pah, they even have pets.
Survivability isn’t just about self heals. It’s also about avoiding damage altogether, and mages have some decent tools for exactly that.
Yeah, I’m spamming Exhilaration every cooldown, and I’ve even swapped over to a Tenacity pet whenever I see someone else in the group that can lust.
I play Resto Shaman, I’d rate them as a close second personally.
Spirit Link totem is really clutch if used correctly, problem is when others run out of it.
That other 40% damage reduction ability does suck though, Hunters have a similar ability using Tenacity pets.
The CDs are just too long.
At least Shaman can self-heal though, Hunters can’t lol. Except a really weak heal from Spirit Beast pets.
Absolutely not. Unless you’re being one shot by standing in things, it’s incredibly easy to not die as a Mage with barrier, mass barrier, invisibility, mass invisibility, Iceblock and cold snap, Alter Time, Mirror Images and then there’s also you can double blink away.
That guy misread, no one said Warlocks.
there are people who will say warlocks suck at survivability.
Definitely Hunters in Dungeons, raids, and PVP, but we do get a small increase to survivability in TWW.
i mean frost does yeah. fire not a whole lot. just molten shield and blink. ice block is more of a oh no! tool than damage avoiding. yeah it can be used for that in dungeons but usually if you have to use that your group is already in trouble.
Probably hunters and shamans.
