D4 recently went to the Game Pass and prior to that Steam…do you guys think there’s a chance they will add WoW to the game pass to attract more customers? Since Microsoft owns Blizzard now I don’t think they’d want a WoW sub competing with their game pass sub. I think it’d be awesome if they did that…I know a few people that would come back to WoW if that were the case.

I would say there is a 0% chance that it will go to gamepass
When they add the frequently discounted buy-to-play ESO to the PC gamepass, I may raise that number a bit…but until then its a 0% chance for WoW.
Basically zero.
It could go on the PC gamepass, but that would probably just mean you don’t have to pay for expansions while you’re on it. They’re not doing away with the sub and losing millions of dollars.
As someone who will never have Xbox Gamepass, I hope never. I have a PS5 with their highest subscription, I don’t care to have anything Xbox.

What they could do is offer seasonal passes with paid premium tracks where the premium track is unlocked for game pass subscribers by default. That’s probably the most logical for them to attempt. But, I see this as something they would do in addition to the subscription not in place of it.

bad idea, the money they lose with the subscription should be earned elsewhere, in short, 80/90% of the game in the store or battle passes.
I’m still hurt from the cowboy bebop “event” in OW2 (1 skin (1 skin obtainable by playing) the rest all in the store for about 50 dollars
something from wow is gonna show up on the gamepass eventually
perks, xpacs, discounts, etc
