What are the biggest unsolved questions of BFA

I know in this expansion there were tons of questions and things that were not solved even at the end. I haven’t seen Shadowlands lore, so I am not aware of that gets solved later on. Here are some of my questions:

What is going to happen with the sword in Silithus?

Did the sword kill C’thun?

Are the nagas friendly now, and what happened with Azshara?

Add any other question you may have that was not solved

Where is Budd?

Why did they pretend this was going to be a faction conflict expansion?

During the whole expansion, Magni was always upset about the local denizens using Azerite for their own purposes. So much so that he’d send us out to kill them, yet he was totally chill with us using Azerite to make war machines and other weapons for our faction war?

The whole expansion I was waiting for the “Magni boss” because I thought he’d eventually get sick of us abusing Azeroth lol.

Edit: I guess my question is why was Magni cool with the Horde/Alliance abusing Azeroth for their own gains, but not the locals

The sword has no answer right now. How do you even pull out something that big? It’s not killing the titan anymore, we healed her throughout BfA by absorbing azerite with the Heart and closing the wounds. It’s more like a giant piercing now. We’ll see if it gets fixed later!

C’Thun was killed in vanilla, not by the sword. There were a couple lore interviews Blizz talked about it. The Old Gods should be considered to be dead in the sense we destroyed their forms here. But death is often just a setback in WoW. What happens to the Old Gods when they die? Do they return to the Void? Or can they return later in some different manifestation? Possibilities we don’t know.

So yeah, for now all Old Gods are dead and gone until said otherwise. Azeroth’s freed of their influence. They aren’t still lying dormant in their prisons.

Azshara is alive. She escaped Ny’alotha and teleported to who knows where with some cryptic threat. Guaranteed to continue to be a problem in the future. The naga are still enemies, they have no care for any other races. Pretty hostile types.

Best question regarding BfA.

Why did Tyrande lose to Nathanos despite being empowered by a Goddess?

Why did we ignore the sword?

Why did they shove Old Gods into an “faction conflict expansion”?

Why did Anduin/the Alliance not prepare for the Blight when attacking Undercity?

Why were the Lightforged Draenei/Draenei side lined when they were near Teldrassil/have a literal spaceship?

Why was Lasan so eager to kill Alliance?

Why did Magatha survive Legion (this is still relevant, don’t question me!)

Why was N’Zoth depicted in such a pathetic way?

Why did we just allow Azshara to escape and aren’t sending anyone to find her?

Why did it take an entire expansion for the other Horde leaders to see the mess Sylvanas was doing when they swore not to follow an insane warchief a second time?

The questions continue to build because this expansion set up a lot and answered virtually nothing.

We didn’t killed him, just a portion of him. If you see the interview for the 8.3. N’zoth is the only Old God we fight that is fully freed

Why does ION still have a job?

Plot armor

They forgot

Stupidity

Probably didnt expect the b***h to nuke her own city and troops.

They probably crashed on their way there.

We are at war that b***h started

Meh

Why is everyone depicted in such a pathetic way?

Kinda dealing with b***h queen to care about her.

Cause writting.

What happened to the zandalari troll criminal that I saved and told me to find him if I travel to Vol’dun.

I still can’t find the PvP vendors and I’d like to know where blizzy hid them. It’s not funny anymore :frowning:

Where did the Illidari and/or the fel hammer go? We sacrificed all this on 1 boat ride to BFA lands it seems.

Druids have a home. DK’s have a home. And they keep this up even “at war” with each other. I guess when DK’s go to the undead party ship they are off the clock.

Did we DH’s have a civil war? Who won? And why did’t the winner get the ship and control of the Illidari.

“Presenting BATTLE FOR AZEROTH!”

“AHAHAH FOOLED YOU, BY BATTLE FOR AZEROTH WE MEANT MOSTLY YOUD BE SAVING AZEROTH”

“Oh except for this bit where Azshara comes out and you take her out in one patch”

“OH and this other bit where an old god comes out and you kill him with the carebear stare”

“What do you mean false advertising?”

Because how could they made it about Sylvanas if they didn’t force faction conflight even though she was going to have another plot next expac anyway?

I mean ideally they could have just… not… done that. Do anything but that.

when will that scumbag Leo Shealds give me my share of the treasure !

Yes but, you know how special she is for the writers. Very special.

Why did we just let Aszhara go away after all she did… And where did she hid Xal’atath.
