Nobbel87 videos. Wow players don’t read. We can’t even read the dungeon journal.

I second Nobbel87.

He is the Lore Daddy of WoW, like how MyNameIsByf is the Lore Daddy of Destiny.

There are so many! The Last Guardian is one of my favorites (Khadgar & Medivh).

The War of the Ancients is also very good.

The early lore of the Warcraft universe is vastly entertaining; you can find a list of the books, along with a general reading order. (Some suggest starting with Day of the Dragon.)

Happy reading!!

I have read a lot of the Warcraft books mostly to keep up with the lore. They are usually disappointing. Some are pretty good.

The Last Guardian is a good book to read to learn the nuts and bolts of the franchise. And it wasn’t bad.

Personally, I really enjoyed Shadows of the Horde. It was very Troll themed. It isn’t consequential, since Bwonsamdi’s attitude is changed in game, and Voljin has been taken off screen, anyway…. but it was an enjoyable read.

I also enjoyed Shadows Rising. It was a more grim tale, which I liked. Even Alliance Characters do shady things.

Read the Cataclysm books by Richard Knack and Christie Golden. I especially like Wolfheart because it tells you so much that isn’t seen in the game.

Christe Golden’s novels in particular.

They are fun to read and easy to follow.

Personally I like the books that focus on smaller stories that make the world feel larger. The Traveler trilogy, while aimed at a younger audience does that wonderfully.

Has anyone read War of the Scaleborn? It gives more insight into the war between the Dragonflights and Primal Incarnates. It also shows in more detail Raszageth’s attack on the Dracthyr and her imprisonment.

The War of the Ancients series and Arthas’s biography are my favorites!

Basically any of the books by Richard A Knaak are good, and anything by Christie Golden is pretty bad. There are 2 exceptions to this rule though. War Crimes and Jaina Proudmoore Tides of War. Those are the only 2 Christie Golden books that don’t suck.

Dawn of the Aspects, Wolfheart, Stormrage, and the Blizzard Legends series are all amazing reads.
