Coming from BFA to Classic and am wondering what’s the best balanced ( population not too heavy on one side) and active server (PvP preferably) for Horde. Just about all of the posts that I’ve looked at for this question are a little too old now so I figured there’s been an update on what the good servers are now
The balanced server should be Whitemane, and the largest number of tribal players should be herod
lol
Grobbulus I’ve heard is very balanced. It’s RPPvP tho. So if that’s not your thing I think Faerlina is balanced as well, but that’s the “streamer” server so that might not be fun. Many of the streamers are less active tho so it might not be as bad as it was at launch.
Both of which are locked for new character creation if you do not already have a toon on said servers.
If you’re looking for a “balanced” FULL server you’re going to have a bad time. I suggest you do some digging around otherwise you’re going to make a character on a full realm and then complain when you have to wait in queue for 4+ hours during new content release.
A good site for checking realm populations among other things is iron forge . pro
I would not recommend picking one of the largest servers unless you like sitting in login queues.
70/30 A/H.
Thunderfury 50/50
Grob is not that bad, probably 60/40 at worst, it’s just alliance are a bunch of d-bags on that server so it seems worse. Playing grob horde has really made me change my opinion of the factions a little bit.
Grob is absolutely that bad.
Maybe, but it seems that there are some. I suppose it depends on why you’re looking for balanced and what that means to you.
There are a few things we have that may help us determine which server best matches our preferences.
IronforgePro
https://ironforge.pro/servers/
This is based on warcraftlogs data, so only representative of active raiders who are logging.
WowClassicPopulation
https://wowclassicpopulation.com/
This requires people to have a consensus addon, run it, and upload the data.
Neither are perfectly accurate representations of population or balance, but they do offer some data rather than none.
It’s also probably worth spending a little time rolling on the servers you may be interested in, and looking around for leveling guilds. If you can find a decent group of people who play around the same times you do, that can make leveling more enjoyable.
Good luck!
Mankrik is the number 1 Horde PvE server, like it’s really the only one, and as a bonus it actually has more than 3 or 4 major twink guilds if you want to PvP until TBC comes out. Only time there’s a queue is on prime hours once or twice a week and even then it’s 20 minute wait, and since it’s a ‘‘full’’ server, you can actually find groups to do content prior to 60, and the auction house has more than 2 items on it.
It’s also the only server Ive rolled on since classic came out where if you ask anything in trade/LFG, people actually answer you. Like I’m leveling a pally on Pagle on the side and that server just seems like you took a road trip to new york or something in regards to how people interact. Totally different culture, and half the time you are ignored, despite having just as many people as mankrik.
The best community so far has been horde on a PvE server, it’s just hard to find that, there’s only a couple servers thats PvE and majority horde, and Mankrik seems like the best one so far.
Where’d you get that data from? I’m seeing 56:44 A:H
From the “don’t crap up my server” website.
Idk what that is.
Heartseeker is feels right where the Horde story starts in Azeroth after WC3.
Heartseeker is BiS.
Hahhhah imagine going horde to pvp. Don’t do it I regret every min of it unless u enjoy hanging out in ghost form dead all day.
If you want a pvp server for the sake of saying you rolled on one, but really Just want the feel of pve, there is always stalagg and skeram
