Whilst channeling Demolish I am, per the tooltip, immune to stuns, knockbacks, and forced movement effects. Somehow though while I’m channeling Demolish a mob’s fear spell forces me to move and interrupts the channel, other mobs can stun me and interrupt the channel. So when I am stunned or forced to move they must have been caused by things that aren’t forced movement effects or stuns, right?
Fear is not a forced movement effect, it has its own category – Fear. Its a loss of contol effect and it will stop channels.
Not all loss of control effects are Stuns. There are Incapacitate, Sleep, Horrified, Feared etc. effects, they are loss of control effects and will stop channels, but they are not Stuns, its a separate category.
and forced movements would fall under mine controls
forced movement effects, not loss of control effects, which is fear.
Physical stuns, knock backs from physical effects, like wind or a boss slam.
forced movement effects like grips, and maybe teleports.
if the mob’s “stun” has a “kick” tied to it, it would prob be seen as a interrupt and not a stun.
else its a bug for a stun to work when immune to stuns.
or maybe it looks like a stun but is a different effect, like blind, incap, sleep, etc.
Fear is a Fear effect. Forced movement is stuff like knockbacks and Death Grip.
