What are some of the unwritten rules in WoW?

Lol So does camera shaking, I hear.

I’ve got couple more:

After entering BG, create those delicious healthstones!

Drop the flag for the tank!

I’ll take all the buffs I can get - I’ll also buff anyone (if I think about it), heals too…

But please DONT RIDE THE DRUID without asking !

The first unwritten rule of wow, is that we don’t talk about the unwritten rules of wow!

I forget the raid in WoD, but people would routinely inch there way into the room and inevitably aggro the boss. Those people I use it on without asking. We already wiped and would rather not start it again with people stuck outside. lol

Druids do not start fights with other Druids.

Chuck Norris. 'nuff said.

Hunters’ Barrage is always on cooldown. This is why they couldn’t possibly have pulled that mob.

You’ll always be THIS SHORT of something to complete a quest, crafted item, reputation, etc. And it will take forever to get it.

You will RUSH to complete the new questline and it will take HOURS to complete it but you finally persevere and get the last item you need. Only to find out the quest was bugged and Blizzard hotfixes it an hour after you completed it and the next person in the guild to do it has it done in 20 minutes and can’t understand why you hated it. Yes, I’m looking at you, Crown Jewels in Suramar.

Do not fear in dungeon.
Do not knock back in dungeon.
Do not try to heal in boomkin.

Skinner’s Code.

Don’t skin another skinner’s kill.

Also in dungeons:

If skinning takes too long, then skip it.
If there’s another skinner in your party, then split the skins.

Ugh. Yeah this. Hardest part of timewalking is telling healers that dispels are a thing. Like those huge naga in Throne of the Tides. I’m like “You can spam heals on me till you’ve healed my entire health pool 5x over to beat the absorb… or you could just dispel it.”

I quite liked the Glyph during Mists of Pandaria that caused Warlock Fear to make the target tremble on the spot. Made it a very reliable CC for PVE.

You know… I could live with people fighting on the road if they would just focus the freaking healers!

We went so long without buffs, I forget to even buff myself on the characters with them. So no I don’t buff anyone else normally, I used to back years ago.

If you are playing Horde… Do not cap Snowfall Graveyard in AV.

If you are in a dungeon and purposely pull mobs and you are not the tank because you’re too ADHD and the tank isn’t going fast enough (If he’s pulling one mob at a time, then I get it, but that’s rarely the case), you are not going to be healed or helped by the tank.

Don’t post recount after every single mob pull or boss. At the end of the dungeon is fine, but if you do it more that 2-3 times, understand you’re close to being vote kicked because you’re bugging the world.

If you are FC in Warsong Gulch or Twin Peaks, you do not run away from the people defending you, especially the healer. You are more likely to die.

If you join a Random BG you buff then you see some one else join the group he’s unbuffed you buff again to indicate he requires a buff. Then some one else joins buff again to indicate. Keep buffing keep indicating until it’s time to fight, mounting up permitting of course. If others buff it’s their choice… it’s a personal style of how to be a freshman newb but still experienced…

Always play Alliance, always biased alliance… if you play horde thats wrong you are a baddie enemy of the world. Always Alliance… You can twink a lowbie horde but alway Alliance.

Always Mage, due to Vanila friends hardcore mages. Always Mage stay low, stay pro, stay distance, kill your enemy distance, respect wow be a mage be pro humble and respect what you get. Always play, stay Mage. First thing is always Mage or even better Alliance Mage. Kill the enemy be a Mage…

Sorry Kaivax, you’ve posted in the wrong thread. I hear that “spoken” at least a couple times in each BG I play. :stuck_out_tongue: I wish it didn’t have to be said though.

Ooh this reminded me of another rule of mine.

In BG, rebuff every time you respawn. Especially if there are friendlies respawning with you.

If your invited to a group you should always give a hello, howdy, hi diddly doo
