What are some good ambient sounds to sleep to?

I’ve been enjoying rainforest sounds. It’s some of the best sleep I have had in a very long time.

What sounds do you enjoy falling asleep to?

i recently trained myself to sleep with one eye open by falling asleep to raining in a traditional japanese house…with a random timer of rogue stealth noise every 30-60 minutes

I usually choose ASMR, French speaking. I don’t listen to ASMR in English anymore, there are more soothing languages to the ear.

But yeah, rain fall on pavement, no thunder is a go to, I play that and ASMR at the same time lol.

I don’t like animal jungle ambient sounds. I remember my dad used to play that crap. Birds are fine, but I don’t want to be hearing monkeys and parrots and 500 different animals while I’m sleeping.

I’m weird though. I can sleep to dark ambient music and horror sounds. I’m not normal.

Keep with the theme, I have discovered that my dog’s snoring makes me tired, while human snoring keeps me awake.

I can see that … I find the snoring sound of my french bulldog very relaxing and soothing.

I usually get fried and play rain and thunderstorm sounds, sometimes it helps me sleep.

the best ambient sounds comes from the Paladin Classic Discord, specifically the sod section. The sound of the tears coming down their face sounds like a waterfall. I dont even speak i just watch and enjoy. Its glorious

Thunderstorm is normally what I go with, but I occasionally use this one youtube channel that has 1 hour videos of music from wow zones, I can’t remember the name off the top of my head though.
