I need a pet to do my mail and vendor items.

Not a pet, although you can get one doing the quests; https://www.wowhead.com/item=156721/mailemental/, the Katy Stampwhistle toy works as a portable mailbox;

It is per character though and has a pretty lengthy cd but you can vendor stuff to it.

You may also consider taking up Engineering as a profession, you can make a mailbox and you can also make Jeeves to vendor items.

Mammoths and yaks are (fairly) affordable mounts that give you vendor/repair options as well.

Engineering is terrible in Shadowlands, I forgot about Jeeves though lmao. Iā€™m an Engineer right now.

Iā€™ve never paid attention to their racials, so I wasnā€™t aware of the ā€˜cooking fireā€™ ability. Iā€™m just glad you werenā€™t suggesting they were meant to BE cooked. Phew!
