Before the changes paladins were simming 16,000 DPS compare to the rest of us at 12,000 dps.
Now everyone is around 12,000 dps.
Well done blizzard. Keep it up

classic dev team has been doing a bang up job balancing pve in sod. been interesting to see the classic annisversary dps charts versus the sod ones week to week
Most of the complaints were about the change to the cooldown of judgement reduction in 4pc t2 being changed from -5 seconds to -2 which would ruin the rotation of seal twisting, but that was reverted yesterday.
The issue is that most people dont want to learn Twisting. Which is 1000% reasonable. It would be sensible to buff stacking & exodin and even shockadin to a 5% closeness of twisting.
Not everyone wants to play their class as a rhythm game, we’re here to enjoy the game in the way we like to play, after all.
werent you always saying nerf ret? Seal of martyrdom, seal of command being a 6 second window, divine storm, judgment, crusader strike, exorcism, concencration, hammer of wrath excluding our buffs and defensives just only our offensives. This isnt complex? a rogue spamming back stab, hunter with killshot, mage with icelance, druid with starfall, these are all complex?
Paladins logging in Tuesday will be nerfed by over 20-30% from where they are now. It was higher before some of those nerfs were reverted. All in the name of balance in an MMORPG (which famously don’t demand “perfect” balance, as roles are meant to matter).
This kind of balance is a serious flaw in the thinking of modern devs and younger gamers.
Further, this balance is around being fully geared, another mistake by these devs. You don’t balance based on the final highest potential. It cripples the game, and tells the audience the devs will cater more to the third party log site than the players who login every day.
There is no such thing as a more complex rotation. Regardless, even if there was, that’s a really silly statement and position. What should be the case, which is how it always had been, is that different classes excel at certain fights. Too many children don’t realize the game is an RPG.
No. Higher skill should always be rewarded. A shifting feral should do more than a wheelchair feral, a twisting ret should do more than a stacking ret. Skill expression is important.
Also sims look pretty tight right now. Warrior is single target dooky, but seeing everyone’ around 12k is great.
