Hi there… I’m sorta getting into transmog’n now… and was wondering if there are any cool mods that might help me…

Tells you what you have already learned, shows you what you need from vendors, tells you what might be available in the zone you are in and much more.
I had a look at that… I couldn’t really work it out… it seemed to be just a massive list of everything in the game that is possible to do. Is there a way to use it to show vedor transmogs and AH transmogs?
It will tell you right on the item if you have it or not.
When you’re at a vendor, it does the same.
Whatever zone you’re in, it tells you what mogs you could possibly collect.
It’s actually quite thorough.
If you’re looking for something that will do searches across the AH or across the world for certain vendors, I can’t help you there.
I like CanIMogIt for showing me if I have appearances already. (There are some bugs, such as a crossbow that doesn’t have a unique appearance that gets listed for tons on AH.) Research before you buy, always.
+1 for Can I Mog It. The tags on vendor displays alone is a huge timesaver. I’ve also used CollectionShop to search the AH for cheapest version of appearances I don’t have, but I’m not sure it’s up to date.
The new-ish AH interface is very good for searching for unlearned items–it won’t look for armor types the searcher can’t wear, though. Also, here’s an example of a transmog that is somehow tagged as unique (and expensive) but it’s not unique by any stretch:

After looking at each crossbow’s 3D model, there are 5 other crossbows listed that share the same appearance as the Horned Crossbow.

how do you do that on the vanilla AH? Or do you mean a AH mod?
No AH mod. There’s a filter button to the left of the Search button on the AH. There are checkboxes for uncollected, usable only, and upgrades only.
