I give up on this thread. LOL
They fixed most class-required skips.
They don’t want groups to be required to bring specific classes in a dungeon.
On top of that, half the warlock skips involved going through walls.
You know how fun and well design something is by the sheer number of players that try to avoid it.
Trash mobs are never fun, and will always try to be skipped. But they are an integral part of dungeons.
They are there to slow you down, in a timed instance, what do people do when they try to improve time?
There are already ways to skip mobs that don’t involve going through walls. Would you be okay if there was a way to clip under the map and just walk around and pull whatever you wanted
You found a way that’s better and faster to clear content that has a looming count down timer? HOW DARE YOU!!!
Also
Skipping=/=Exploiting
No matter where, Trash mobs are never fun. And I’ll welcome any chance to avoid that as much as possible.
Time is the only problem I see here.
Not like someone is on a roof in a bg killing you over and over in the GY, nor are they getting world first, or BiS items.
People are mad they didn’t think of it first.
If you knew anything about anything you would know that setting a precedent of requiring classes in dungeons is a terrible idea. You wouldn’t know that because you don’t even have a max level toon
Please tell me you’re joking… You’ve been around this long, and you’re mad about this?
So I think I sorta got my answer ish? They fixed going through walls with gateways, and the reason why Freehold’s bridge one no longer works is the sides of the bridges act like walls (invisible walls).
That’s what I could gather from all of this
Yes, but almost every demonic gateway skip involved going through walls, which was obviously not intended.
Likewise, the Rogue skip in Underrot skipped literally all the trash before the first boss. Skipping all the trash before a boss is probably not intended either.
Huh? I skipped that Freehold bridge just last night. Worked fine.
If people are skipping content, I’m assuming it’s because it isn’t super fun. Unless a person finds killing the same mobs a thousand times for absolutely no reward fun, but that’s up to them.
are you aware we are talking about m+?
On or after? It works after the bridge, but im talking about the one literally on top of the bridge.
Was the Warlock in my group incorrect about it?
You do realize that using spectral sight to speed up the stealthed mob pulls in Atal’dazar is probably next on the list of things to nerf right?
What about what I said doesn’t apply to M+?
Wut. That’s working as intended. Next you’ll tell me Flare will be a removed ability
