So i’ve been running tier 8 delves and getting basically 600 item level gear. But from what i see, the gear you get from the delve vendor is 580 and it will literally take me 1 to 2 months to open it up to be available to purchase. Is this gear just for alts or am i missing something about this gear. I see some of it is in a set, but 580 gear in 1 to 2 months is going to be worthless isn’t it?

Vendors aren’t going to have gear that is better than what the content offers, because that’s too deterministic / easy for players to get what they want. It removes the RNG devs love to throw at us.
It’s mostly alt catchup / starter gear. Also probably xmog purposes.

Say in 2-3 months you want to play something else but they don’t have gear. YOu buy gear from the vendor. They can now get into Heroic and Normal Raids as well as M0s or M+
Yes. But by that point one should already have a nice nest egg of warbound drops, but if you’re missing any, this will unlock your seasonal catchup.

yep Been getting new weapons and mail gear for my Hunter or a lot of Axes
Could be that they assume most people who would use the gear from the vendors aren’t expected to really do anything past Tier 3 or 4? I’m not really sure what the plan is with Delves. Not really sure they are either.
