Execute, bloodthirst, whirlwind I charge in and use bloodthirst.
My damage is very poor and I am the lowest on meters. I stand behind the target and I am still bottom of the barrel I feel like garbage even though I enjoy the game.

I am in some tank gear but mostly dps gear. Is there a way to link armory on classic?
there was no wow armory back in wow vanilla, they are living up to fans’ #nochanges
What environment – solo questing, 5-man dungeons, or raids?
Do you have full world buffs (Dragonslayer, Songflower, Dire Maul tribute, etc.) and consumables (Elixir of the Mongoose, sharpening stones, etc)?
The god’s honest truth is, how you mash your buttons matters less than if you got world buffs, you stacked crit consumables, and if your group/raid buffs are on point. Warriors are absolutely lackluster at lower gear/crit levels and scale HARD on world buffs. You are probably in the bad end of that scaling right now.
You chose your race poorly. But that can be fixed depending on what weapons you want to use.
Primarily, you should be looking for daggers as they will be the easiest and cheapest solution (and work fine).
To use daggers you will need to run DM north (not tribute) for muggers belt or Molten core for Aged Core Leather gloves.
You will use one of those two items until you have the sword off the last boss of classic. The +weapon skill is important for raids.
Your other alternative is edgemaster handguards, but that is 7k gold.
For swords, your only weapons are off Broodlord (Maladath would allow you to use swords) and Kel Thuzad.
For axes, you can get the blue axe out of ZG, but good luck.
For maces, you can get the mace from AQ trash.
Basically - use daggers.
Second stat you want is hit rating. If you don’t have +weapon skill, you will need 9%. If you have +5 skill, you need 6%.
Basically after that, whatever has more attack power while keeping your weapon skill and hit rating up.

I almost have the scholomance sword that is BIS for off hand or one of the BIS pre raid
hacker is a little fast, which makes whirlwind hit weaker.
compare hacker damage range to mass of mcgowan/thrash blade/krol blade damage range for example.

So if I invested in McGowan I would do better dps?
whirlwind will hit 40% harder. It also has strength which buffs your bloodthirst. You lose sword proc which is bonus rage though.
Yeah problem is I am not generating enough rage to do the rotation.
You just need better gear. For pure fury dps you should look at the craftables – devilsaur set and/or black dragonscale. Or go do some pvp and grind your blue set. You’ll get some decent filler pieces on the way, but Zul Gurub is your new bestest friend. And probably just plain UBRS and scholomance for the rest of your valor set that you could then work towards upgrading to 0.5. You have many paths to better gear – AQ20 has good stuff for you, Ony if you can get in. You have just begun and are at the low end of a pretty steep curve.
Check out Fight Club discord for more advice, but I’m thinking it’s a lot for you at this point of your learning curve … you can also just really work on following and understanding the wowhead or icy-veins suggested gear lists.
Weapons wise you do want Mirah’s Song, it’s likely better than what you have now. You also can get a pretty good catch up sword from doing the two venom sacs quest (Venoxis in ZG and Fankris in AQ20) quest in Silithus. Quel’serrar is pretty easy to get. Several half decent weapons in zg. Etc.
exploit /stopcasting to cancel heroic strike before it goes off if low on rage, it makes your offhand have over 10% higher chance to hit while it’s queued.
