What alliance short race

I’m wanting to roll an alliance short race for my hunter I mainly leaning towards dark iron dwarf and a regular gnome. I’ve always liked playing the short races and yes, I know elves are better, but I’m not into that sort of thing. I’m needing some opinions on what to pick

Well, mainly night elf with their hide ability

Dwarf, Dark Iron Dwarf, and Mechagnome have the strongest racials packages in the game.

They are all short

I considered this the only thing kind of holding me back. Is the transmog thing.

Both are fine, just create trial characters and decide based on their attack animations.

I might need to switch to gnome for Mythic Queen Ansurek, like so many others. /sigh

The new expanded Mole machine Racial ability of the dark iron does make it interesting being able to teleport anywhere

What kind of a crooked Dwarf are you? Elves are better? Wt* ?

Just make a Goblin folk the females are sexy and the girls like the males because they are greedy.

I’ll never play another gnome ranged dps after being LoS’ed by ground clutter LOL, I’d go with dwarf

Mechagnome. Their racials are too good. Basically a free stat trinket, a cheat death, and mage clone. So good.

Night Elves certainly have the monopoly on silly names ripped off from characters in other franchises.

Since he’s making a hunter, if he goes elf maybe he can name it Legolasephiroth.

Mechagnome was my first choice. I love the racial abilities and they look incredible with pets and tech weapons.

My main (not a hunter) is a mechagnome. I thought I would hate it when I first switched but I actually love it now. It feels the right size. You can find ways to make the transmog work. Mechagnome hunters get a unique mechanical starter pet.

My hunter is a human and it’s fine but if I had a reason to change, or even played retail enough lately, the only race I’d consider would be mechagnome (or tauren because I love them but they are HUGE).

Dark Iron Dwarf is a good second choice if you can’t handle the metal chicken legs. I am very happy with this shaman’s race. BUT ONLY BECAUSE MECHAGNOMES CAN’T BE SHAMAN.
