What "Alliance High Elves" keep forgetting

Spite. We see it a lot from the “mature” horde side.

I would say we see it from both sides. :man_shrugging:

On the other hand if a French person woke up tomorrow with blue skin, they wouldn’t cease being French and they especially wouldn’t cease being Human.

Blood or Void Elf is just a name some of them adopted. The base species is still High Elf for all of them.

No. High Elf is not the base race. High Elf is ALSO a name they adopted. A name that refers now to a very specific group of Elves.

(Observation): Blood Elves don’t have blue hair though. It’s a Void Elf thing. If Blood Elves are getting a shade of blue, even if it’s a shade Void Elves don’t have, then Void Elves should get blond.

Yes, but I always see the horde claiming how much more mature they are

Don’t worry, I never called myself mature.

That is true but they were High Elves before they were Blood or Void. All Blood and Void Elves come from High Elves but not the other way around.

Deffo sounds it. If you are running low on salt at home, I believe you have found a new source, lol.

What’s next? Mag’Har Humans?

Yeah. I don’t think anyone is denying that they were former High Elves. They all share a common history, even if their paths have diverged since then.

And if someone wants to roleplay that they’re a High Elf. Go for it. More power to them.

I’m going to inform you in that post void elfs already had a new hair option.
Before you say its the DK hair tone. False it’s not the DK hair tone. it’s a new hair tone the dk hair tone is slightly blue.

So it’s safe to assume they are going to get more hair tints.

“since adding hair tints is prolly one of the easiest things to code along side skin tones now.”

It amazes me how the people that’ve been tripping over themselves for years, patting themselves on the back for being more mature and better than us and ridiculing us for wanting more customization for our races are now mad that we get a skin color, alongside them getting golden chains and tiaras.

I think I’m going to like Shadowlands.

Between you and me, I’m all for high elves with purple hair.

Sounds fabulous to me!

I actually like my glowy hair.

Also, I don’t give a rip about a city no one visits.

According to the Warcraft Encyclopedia from when TBC came out “High elves and blood elves are physiologically the same race”.

You can say they’re not the same, but Blizzard says otherwise.

Night Elves are getting Blond Hair fyi.

Not really what I’m saying now, is it? I’m saying that even if they are “the same race” that race isn’t called “High Elves”. Especially considering (from the same source) that Blizzard said Blood Elves do not consider themselves High Elves anymore. If it is that mutable, then the base race is definitely not “High Elf”.

Actually, the race is ‘elf’ ‘high elf’ is jsut a name they gave themselves like ‘blood elf’. All elves are the same race, ren’dorei, sin’dorei, kal’dorei, shal’dorei, fal’dorei, quel’dorei. All elves.

‘high elf’ is not a race, its the name of a group of elves which blood elves and void elves are no longer part of.
