Rogues have a few very difficult matchups.

Hunters can be extremely difficult. Rogues don’t have a true gap closer and are easily kited. If the Hunter doesn’t get CCed from 100-0 they can scatter/trap the rogue and kite them into oblivion.

Frost mages give rogues fits for similar reasons. They can kite rogues very easily and even have the added benefit of blink to break stuns and extra survivabilty with shielding spells.

Warriors tend to mash rogues faces in. Rogues are very squishy and it takes only a couple hits from a 2h to put them down. This can be a fairly even 1v1 but in a group setting with healers it becomes very lopsided.

Reck bomb paladins are probably the hardest matchup in the entire game for rogues. Rogues build reckoning stacks on the paladin very quickly thanks to dual wielding. Rogue’s primary means of avoiding damage, dodging, is negated by HoJ. A single 5 hit Reck bomb can take a rogue from 100-0. Worst case scenario you can bubble hearth lol.

Other classes have good tools vs rogues as well, for example a SL lock is just a menace to 1v1 in general. Those are the absolute worst matchups in my experience.

Undead rogues?
Well then ye want to be goin’ with th’ master race lad.

Dwarf for sure!
As for class?
Ye will like rollin’ yerself either a good blunderbuss toutin’ hunter or a hammer wieldin’ paladin. Both will do ye fine. Both can be found in the dwarven race area.

Why dwarves you ask?
Well lad. We’re simply the optimal race in all manners. But if ye want to get into the dirt of the matter, our stoneform can be used to remove their nasty blind ability as well as immune yerself to poisons which are their primary slow! It also removes their bleeds which they might rely on with you bein’ either a plate wearin’ lad or a kitin’ hunter! Tis helps ye a load bit when fightin’ a nasty rogue. Plus undead don’t like the taste of dwarf. We drink too much whiskey for them to handle.

As another lad here said, reckoning paladin LOL.
Dwarven reckoning paladin will be a rogue’s absolute worst nightmare.

Aye nay a worry lad!

I may be makin’ meself a dwarven guild for pvp and overall stuff if I can find meself a raid leader and ally ourselves to a guild to fill missing classes. Will be going to roll on a pvp server or if they change their minds RP-PVP if they make one. Will be glad to have ye if you’d like.

Meantime look up some reckoning vids and you will see why rogues will HATE you.

Aye lad ye tauren folk be just as hard strong as a good dwarve. If it were not fer ye gettin’ a lil too friendly with them green-skinned orc folk I be sure us dwarves would of enjoyed havin’ ye tall folk over for a good feast.

See if our hard ales are good enough to bring down a good tall one such as yer self.
