What all breaks Spear of Bastion?

Is it anything with an active Snare/Root removal?

I know Warlocks can Soulburn portal out. Mages can Blink out. But I don’t think Druids can form shift out.

So what about Spirit Walk, Fade, Veil of Midnight, Shadowstep, Fel Rush, Glimpse, Transcendence, etc?

Does HOF/Master’s Call remove it on use, or make targets fully immune even if they’re Speared after the spell was activated?

Dream breath deep breath

Mw revival

Cloak of shadows

Yep

Mages can like shimmer out and then re shimmer while they are mid animation of being pulled back into the spear and it bugs out and let’s them escape

I don’t think so. They can only gateway out.

I thought Soulburn portal had movement impairing immunity ._.

Also, is Spear on Knockback DR?

And Spear is Physical now, so wouldn’t the magic immunity stuff not work?

I get home in 30 minutes we might have to do some science experiments

Im wondering if it’s coded to break from Movement Impairment immunity, Knockback immunity, or needs a full CC immunity

I have been Death Gripped during Glimpse and seen Bladestorm fail to pass through Static Field Totem. So some of the full CC immunities aren’t even fully immune to CC

WoW is weird :person_shrugging:

I’ve tried monks teleport, but it sucks u back in.

Yes knockback DR (or was last time I checked). Ursol’s vortexing someone before using it will make it fail to work for example.

I believe the warlock port is similar to the mage blink, you have to port when you’re in the animation of being pulled back (from running out) in order to escape. Same was true of soulshape. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TvPyz1sP-gE

You can actually get out of it with lock/ww port.

Start walking to the edge then port as soon as you get pulled back to the centre of the spear.

It’s not bugging out. It pulls you back in very fast intervals. It use to be slower making it so people could get out much easier, but they increased the yank back interval after awhile. If you teleport or something that lets you jump forward the moment you’re pulled back, you can still escape it. But you have to be very fast.

Blizzard too lazy to code things in their entirety or fix things in their entirety tbh.

I know you get yanked back the entirety of spear duration, similar to how dk’s slappy hands used to be at least

Port will immune it unless the spear is a couple yards from their port similar to static field

the same way you can bug spear (and static) by walking out of it then using blink, disengage, wild charge as its pulling you back in to break it (there’s a short icd on the pull making this possible)

(Didn’t read the rest of the thread where you already said the same thing)

You can port out

Just got to time it/it’s latency dependent

Beat me to it

always was

Don’t even worry about this info, Blizzard neutered the ability so hard that it’s been better to run a DoT over the spear.

It really needs a damage buff

It hits for less than Onslaught even if you take the capstone that amps its damage.

A 1.5 minute CD shouldn’t be hitting for less than a 12 second CD

Walking out while under the effect of Phase Shift works too.

It should be on a 45-60 sec cd

It should be removed from the game

No reason for warrior to have that in its kit with the sticking power it has anyway. It’s weirdly out of place

We’re already kind of here because it’s so bad that nobody plays it.

Kind of lame that the ability just doesn’t do anything if there’s a Warlock on the enemy team.
