I need a Damage Meter and a Threat Meter.
What is the site to look for about info regarding Classic’s quests? There is no Thottbot anymore.

If you remember me, I was WorstElf of Llane… became Bigbadknight (BBK) in WoTLK. I am not sure if I was popular back then. LOL. But I helped a lot of people during those days.
Addons. Not every site will have every addon available. You will also need something to update the addons. After messing about, there are two things I recommend. Twitch and Minion.
On Twitch, go to the tab that says Mods. A player can download and install addons directly into the Classic Addon folder. There is no category for Classic WoW yet listed in the Twitch directory, so you will have to manually search for each Addon. Then, after you set the directory to your Classic Addon folder, Twitch will download and install the desired Addons from Curseforge, and just like the old Curse App, it will keep files downloaded updated.
There are a few popular addons not in the curseforge database yet, and this is where The Minion App comes in. Basically, Minion and Twitch are set up the same.
It is important to note that the desired addons must be installed from Twitch or Minion for the programs to successfully track and update them.
Recount is probably the best damage meter so far. Threat meter addons are few and few between for now. By the end of September, there should be a lot more and better ones than those that are available now. For example, one of the best Unit Frame Addons is still is development called LunaUnitFrames.

There can be more just look on youtube and they will usually have links to where you can download these at.
Once downloaded some addons will be supported through twitch client.
Others like gatherer won’t even show up in the game client. I’m not sure if blizz doesn’t allow this add on or it just hasn’t been updated by the developer
From Retail, when I played it, I remember a map addon that allowed you to mark the world map. I used it extensively for marking ore nodes. Is there anything like this for Classic?

Go to twitch, theres a whole section of addons for classic. Just need to change which game type its looking at.

Sounds like you might have been using Gatherer or GatherMate2. I think the latter has a classic version.
Tomtom lets you put markers on the map and also has an arrow to guide you to the nearest one.
