I am new to holy. Just trying it out with my level 45 alt.
After a few RDFs, getting a better hang of it. Had to reposition basically all my spells/hotkyeys. While I am pretty proficient F1-5 targetting, I do find being able to just click 1 time with appropriate mouse button would be more efficient.
There are healbot, vuhdo and some other addons. Which one would local holies recommend?
I don’t want to use Lorti or whatever its called. Its total overhaul and I don’t want setting this entire thing up.

I use Vuhdo and imported Ellesmeres profile from wago. I utilize his raid profiles out of the box (minus mana bars). I edited these a bit for a separate dungeon profile. One other thing you need is a WA that let’s you see a DKs runic power. This WA alone made DKs one of my least favorite to one of my favorites to heal. Everything else (OmniCD, etc) you can add on as you start to get to higher keys as it might be overload starting out
You can macro most of your spells to cast on the target under your mouse or pecific players and then have it default to casting on yourself.
You don’t need much in the way of addons besides DBM and Details/Skada/Etc. to keep an eye on your healing.

I use healbot for my unit frames combined with mouseover macros.
I only use TomTom coordinates and basic UI with mouseover macros.
Mouseovers with help/harm syntax does anything an add-on can do plus more and it does it better.
