What’s your favourite Druid and why?

I hope when we do that the bear form is a plague bear

joke answer: Gnome Druid, recalling an old fan comic, which i just found while typing this message so will include it lol

real answer: i like the concept of Druids of the Flame which i believe are exclusively Night Elves, so i’ll say Night Elf. Love the fiery kitty skins.

Tauren/HM Tauren druid because I LOVE their forms, especially the bear form!

My favorite druid, let’s see…Grilled with onions and corn on the cob, I suppose.

I think the Kul Tiran druids are the best cause they are the most close to the real druidism who inspired this class on fantasy games. They are rustic and represent well the cycle of the nature.

Zandalari is the only druid I don’t use glyph of stars on. Looks really good with the red tiger skin, too.

My fav druid npc is Zenkiki. It was funny and cute to watch him just starting out in Cata. Then showing up in other places as he became a pretty dang good healer

Zandalari and Worgen are my fav Druid options.

As we move to all classes on all races I’m most excited for Blood Elf druid I think w story connected to healing Quel’thalas but we’ve not reached druid class being added to all races yet. (Also really think human druids would be fun)

Generally I like Tauren the best race-wise, but their forms aren’t as cool as Zandalari or Kul Tiran, same with Worgen and Night Elves. I am hoping they open Druids up to more races moving forward, especially Vulpera and Dwarves would both make me very happy. I wouldn’t be able to pay Blizz for a race change fast enough.

Same. They’re the only Druid race that isn’t just a copy+paste of the moonkin. I was so disappointed when they finally revealed the Kul Tiran form was just another moonkin. They held back, saying it would be amazing… and we just get moonkin in rags. Such a huge let down.

My favorite druid doesn’t exist yet.

How you be doing mon?

Trees got dat berzerking
Trees got dat extra regen
Trees got dat voodoo shuffle

Lots of synergy mon.

I’m leaning towards Zandalari because I have a scalie bias, but because furries do the art in this game, of course it looks terrible, just like the Dracthyr.

Broll Bearmantle. “I’d rather be hibernating!”

Concept? Still waiting on gnome druids. And I like the classic night elf druid concept.

As somehow who is a fan of BE/HE lore….it’s gonna be very interesting to see how they are gonna make that one make sense :joy:.

Druidism is such an offensive concept to their entire culture. They even dominated and enchanted Eversong forest :deciduous_tree: and the lands around them to be permanently spring. They also hated the Nightelves for choosing Nature over Magic originally. Add to all this the culture they have of being “high borne” and deserving luxurious, extravagant and opulent lives…they’d look down on any BE choosing to be an animal.

They even retconned the original idea in WC2 of high elves having druids that made runestones.

Maybe I’m overthinking it and they are just gonna toss them in with a smile. Who knows

Not really.

Blood Elves have already had a vested interest in healing Quelthalas as far back as BC.

Here’s an example of someone showing how it could be done easily enough.

I would argue after nearly being wiped out w the very land of Quelthalas scarred this weird “we hate druids grr” attitude they had would be more or less a non point bcz like in the grand scheme of things they’ve moved on, like lets see Quel’thalas healed lol.

Not enough Tauren love on this thread, hrmph.

The one that is human. Released soon ™.

My favourite, is the druid I’m playing as a place holder until I can race change it to mechagnome

This is true, but they always believed their own magical prowess was enough. Even the treants they have were unusual in some capacity, I believe magically made? Not certain.

That being said…the Talanji story sounds really good. Gosh…Amani and BE working together? That’s both terrifying and exciting to think about in the lore. Like that hatred goes back thousands of years.
