Personally it’s the barb for me. Simply because he can invoke the power of Jesus to SMASH harder. Doom slayer I say
I play a Druid 18, and Wizard 2 combo wombo.
It feels good, first DnD character, been in the same campaign for almost four years, but it is sadly drawing to a close soon.
Our DM said last session to think of anything you want to tie up for the epilogue
I’ve only played a couple in 5e so far but I liked my Abjuration wizard.
I’ve never seen 5e, but I’ll always love playing a bard.
My DnD 5C class would have to be a cleric. 5F is still tbd, and don’t even talk about a favorite 5G class lol.
Not sure. Haven’t played dnd enough to have a favorite.
I like the simplicity of barbarian: get mad and hit things. Plus I love playing a comedic character and barbarians are some of the best ones for that.
But I also designed a hobgoblin cleric recently ( I loved the lore behind their god that is essentially a police force) that i am doing the new order domain with. And I love the way it works.
Like I cast bless to buff you then order you to attack letting you use your reaction to hit an enemy. I love the idea of a battlefield commander with a law enforcement background.
Arcane Tricksters are loads of fun. My spectral hand gets into all sorts of shenanigans.
Druid all the way.
We are not talking about 5D classes here sir.
confused panda noises
I don’t think it is in dnd 5e, but I love the concept of the magus, with channeling spell touch spells into his/her weapons!
sorcerer is nice because i can twinned spell haste on the fighter and paladin and watch them lay waste to their enemies while i cackle maniacally
Shockingly, most of my campaigns I play as a Paladin with the Oath of Devotion, though, it isn’t saying much since I only ever got to participate in 3 campaigns and in one of those I went as a rogue.
I usually don’t multiclass though .>.
Currently playing a Barbarian in a CoS game, and I feel like a juggernaut. Our DM added in more mobs and such to give us a challenge, but my guy is the only one left from the OG party that went into it.
After we finish CoS gonna be playing a Rogue, which is always fun between sneak attack and being a skill monkey.
Man, that is a hard choice :T I like a lot of them to the point I am not sure I have an absolute favorite.
I guess if I had to pick I would go with Cleric because 5e Clerics are so good compared to previous iterations.
With that said there are a lot of great Multiclassing opportunities. Right now I am playing a 2nd Level Ranger, 2nd Level Rogue, 1st Level Fighter multi classed sniper character with all future levels going into rogue. I find the Multiclassing the most enjoyable part for me.
Sounds like a properly done CoS.
I’m playing a homebrew class called Disciple in my current game that is pretty entertaining for the endless bag of tricks it gets. Allll the blink strikes. If I had to pick a favorite I’d probably say Circle of the Moon druid, because of all the stat blocks you get to play with.
Haven’t played too much 5e, our group prefers 3.5e or pathfinder 1e. My favorite class in those though is sorcerer. My personal favorite was playing a goblin divine sorc. He didn’t quite grasp what being touched by the divine meant and thought he was an actual god. He figured that since the most popular gods were also the most powerful having more followers directly translated to more power; so he was on a quest to convert everyone to worshipping him.
I’m generally agreeable to all the classes though, and unless I have a specific character I’ve come up with that I really want to play I’ll usually just pick something to round out the party based on what other people are doing.
How is 3.5? 5E is my only experience with dnd
Oh for sure, my DM has beefed up the brides to actually give them a role in the story as well.
Moon druids are fun, throw a level of barbarian in there if you know you won’t be getting to 20 for giggles.
The class that I despise the most in WoW is the one I enjoy the most in DnD: Paladin.
