I think people “threw a fit” because you asked for Glad in 2s. I didn’t read it all so I may be mistaken.
Both really, but yea, if you’re good enough to be in the top .5% in 2s, I think you’re worthy of gladiator title. That would be like 2600+ in 2s right now (take a look at the players at 2600+, you will recognize most of their names). For what its worth, I’d be willing to bet there are VERRRYY few people at that rating that haven’t/couldn’t also achieve gladiator in 3s.
that’s weird cuz until you were corrected you thought someone was only worthy of gladiator if they were good enough to be in the top 0.05%
Yep, misplaced the decimal point. I think of .5 as .05 in my head because to get the actual .5% of say 100, you would multiply it by .05. We all make mistakes.
Getting pissy with me doesn’t change the fact that that’s what you’re doing. But proceed
Yeah I’m happy I was able to get my first Glad this season. But I’d much rather it still be 0.5%. I have no real incentive to push past Glad now other than personal achievement.
At least before, you’d push and push until you were sure you were in safe Glad range. And that varied from season to season.
How was I pissy? You just missed the entire point of the conversation, and I congratulated you for not even attempting to engage in it.
If you truly can’t understand why giving away old Glad mounts is a problem and not okay, then idk what to tell you
And this is exactly my point…ok lets say I just barely get glad (2400)…then what? You’re at the literal bottom of Mount Everest looking up at your next reward. Personally, I just enjoy pvp, and getting better…but I can imagine for many, it feels pointless to even try anymore. A reward along the way would at least be something…and certainly deserveable. As it is now, there’s nothing to distinguish a consistent 2800-3200 player versus a 2400 player. I think that’s a shame.
Reverting Glad back to % and keeping Elite at 2400 with maybe a recolored version of the elite set at 2700/2800 (Maybe more flare to it?). I’d love to push for that
life is fleeting and you would rather waste it arguing over petty things that you will never own
This game can close down today and these made up things will be gone forever
Other People having items does not effect you in your health, income, or daily life.
Your brain when you can’t buy every old elite set and/or glad for 12 marks of honor
respond to the fair and valid question of dev resource allotment, twitter user.
Two wrongs don’t make a right , bitterness is corrosive
we’re not talking about revenge, dummy, we’re talking about bargaining
And what exactly does this community have as a mean for bargaining?
Blizzard might consider putting them on the BMAH. Anything to sell tokens and inflate everything to a meaningless level.
I say don’t add them in. Let those who didn’t get them continue QQ’ing and filling up those saltwater potion vials.
these elite sets you idiots want. when the game itself is good and we have more to clutch at than mementos of long-ago times when it was good, you will have less resistance campaigning for terrible recolors of digital assets you want to have but don’t want to earn.
-
I’m not interested in these sets nor do I care to own them, I’m just calling out pointless gatekeeping that will get you nowhere and only makes them ignore the pvp community even more

You all will be better off when you let go of this illusion of power you think you have over this business. They can do what they want . We all can easily be replaced with random whale #124736 or some smooth PR pillow talk.
in the same post the pvp community’s feedback has an observable effect and can’t possibly have one, huh?
yeah they ignore the pvp community because we’re against putting elite sets on the honor vendor for 12 marks
