So I’ve been doing dungeons for leggos and wow. These tanks are SO slow. And for what?
And it’s always the tank that’s slow too. Everyone else is ready to go while the tank just sits there doing literally nothing.
Dear tanks, if you’re slow I will pull for you. I’m trying to just finish this dungeon and move on with my day.

If you want a tank that runs at the pace you want to go, you should try making a pre-made.
Seriously. Sometimes their pathing is so bad it’s absurd. Then they try to do weird skips. Just pull the mobs and kill them. Overthinking pathing this early in the expansion is so weird.

Players with an attitude like yours are part of the reason DPS queues are so ridiculously high: the dearth of tanks.
The tank sets the pace. If you aren’t happy with that and want to set the pace, then get to 60 on this Blood Death Knight you posted on, and start tanking dungeons. Then you get to set the pace.
If you’re in there as DPS, you’re there to smack monsters/bosses, not stand in bad, and manage adds. That’s it. That’s your function. If you find a group that doesn’t let you meet that function, you can learn to live with it, or you can drop group and find another one.
The tank (and the rest of the group) is not there to meet your timetable. You’re the only one who has control over how your time is used, and if others aren’t playing the way you want them to, tough. You don’t control them.
Having tanked all of the dungeons now…some of the trash really really hurts.
People will speed up as they get used to it, but tanking is nowhere close to as mindless as it was in BFA.

I think just don’t read it midrun and there’s not an issue. If you feel a need to read those, do it outside of the run on your own time. I have never struggled with an encounter or dungeon because I didn’t read a guide. You just wing it and it works because the content is at such a low level.

hold on, dps handle adds? Is this why tanks are not picking up the mobs they aggro midfight? Just letting them beat on casters and healers while they mindlessly tank the first mob they engaged?
Some of them are looking at the strategy.
Some of them are new and learning
Some of them are being cautious because their gears not high
If it’s a regular dungeon get over it. This is such a non-issue problem
Tanking heroic on my DK, impatiant rogue saying “GO GO GO your so slow” then tricks of the trade me and pulls 2 more packs, we wipe. I somehow get kicked

This attitude is why I am hesitant to tank in PUGs. I mainly heal and I think I will just stay that way.
I mean maybe you were tanking at an unacceptable rate to the others in the group? Tanks are not always right. Most often they are wrong. Then instead of learning, they quit tanking.
Fresh ilvl 155 tank so… Only pulling 2 packs at a time.
I bet your the OP on another character.
Was it a mythic? 155 ilvl is not low for even heroic.
