What are mythic+ comp teams made out of rn? 3 fire mages? XD

Fire mages do the majority of the dmg. Rogues excellent mob control. BM hunter and DH are really solid options that bring a lot to the group. Hpal is basically a dps other than certain fights, same for rdruid.
Additionally all those classes have great defensiveness they can use to ignore mechnaics / take zero damage (Not so much Druid, which may be why pallies have overtaken them.) Because at the point they are pushing keys, boss mechanics are going to one shot them.
Prot warrior is good because of DMG, and the fact that in a coordinated environment, everything is being kicked and basically zero cast go off. CC and interrupts are done perfectly. What this means is that basically only auto attacks are damaging the tank. Prot warrirors niche literally counters melee attacks from mobs with shield block, so they basically become unkillable.
Fire Mage, Unholy,… Fire Mage is literally busted, and Unholy is ridiculous when you pull half of the instance to their CDs.

Most people agree that it is a demon hunter. Most people have also not seen me embarrass myself on my demon hunters.
the meta is usually something like 1 havoc, 1 outlaw, 1 fire mage, prot warrior, and then rdruid/mw?/hpal
this type of comp revolves around the fire mage and combust windows though, so i’d overall say that havoc is the most op dps class, because firemage requires so much setup whereas havoc is generally good in any comp and doesn’t need nearly as much “borrowed power items”
