What’s the corruption grind like?

Hey, can anyone who played ptr or bfa comment on this? I read the veins and wowhead articles but don’t have any frame of reference.

Are there prerequisites for the quest? How long does it take to do solo? Is this the kind of thing I can knock out in a single session? Assuming I just want the one bis enchant on my main

I believe you get a low rank version of the enchant in the intro quest. If you want the stronger versions you have to grind horrific visions.

Idk if itll be the same as needing to do the bfa questline but they’re not that fun. Pretty boring overall and I only did them with friends back then (same with m+).

Hmm that’s a shame, sounds like a lot more pve than I’d care to do. Would be nice if there were a way to obtain/upgrade them with honor. Otherwise, if they were just disabled in pvp would be good.

But does anyone here have a ballpark figure or anything- how long to get the 500 tokens for the quest? And then how long to get it fully upgraded? How long are these dungeons/scenarios?

If it’s anything like BFA, then alot of people are likely about to quit. That’s as nicely as I can put it. Are we going to see Guardian Druids one shot people in PvP again?

I honestly cannot think of a single person that played the original Horrific Visions who thought they were “fun”, more to the point of why anyone would think bringing them back is a good idea.

Visions were fun and good. It was just unreasonable to require 5 full clears per socket.

Meh, I kind of liked farming visions, and Torghast for that matter. I thought the Torghast theme and gothic feel was awesome.

Yeah almost universally hated but this kind of stuff has to come back or the PvE players unsub (despite them saying they hate it too).
