What’s the ideal dps and heals in 10 man raids?

I asked this previously and got told 'nobody cares about 10’s.
There is a site out there wrathraidcomp, you can use to build one.
Tanks: Pally and DK (one with DPS OS)
Healers: Holy Pally and (Disc or Resto Sham)
Melee: Rogue, Enh Shaman, Frost DK, Feral (no more than 2-3)
Ranged: Demo, Fire/Arc, shadow, balance, Survival
G1: tank1, tank2, 3melee
G2: heal1, heal2, 3 caster dps.
roughly this, but if you can get a boomchicken or a shaman it will help dps in a group. This is for tbc not wrath.
Oh yea, if you’re talking TBC, whatever you can throw together, the 10 mans aren’t hard.
Though things like 1 prot pally and a shadow priest can help a lot. And a shaman per group.
2 tanks (with one of them having good DPS/heal offspec)
2 healers (composition depends on your tanks, DK requires less healing)
6 DPS (one having Bloodlust)
Me + nine people to carry me.

10 muscle orcs in tattered loincloths. Bring [Fish Oil].

If I had an optimum it would be this. But again 10 mans good player > optimum class.
Two Tanks
1 Paladin and 1 Feral Druid or Warrior
Two Healers
1 Shaman and 1 Priest or 1 Druid or 1 Holy Paladin
Six DPS
1 Lock
1 Mage
1 Ret Paladin
1 Boomkin
1 Enhance Shaman
1 Hunter
Basically try to cover every buff and debuff.
They aren’t that hard in WotLK either.
Still more difficult than TBC 10 mans, blizz didn’t know what to do with them, so they’re balanced all wonky.
2 tanks, 2-3 healers, the rest will be a mix of DPS.
Don’t forget, bring the player, not the class.

I know it had a core 10 that covered all buffs and considered the best comp for 10s and as a basis for what you wanted 1st in a 25 man.
I think the obvious answer is 9 dks and a priest
If all dks have potions and lock cookies, 10 dks is fine
Tbc or wotlk? You want 2 tanks 2-3 healers and either a melee group or a caster DPS group.
10 people who aren’t bad is the best comp.
10 people that can stay alive and are fun to play with.
News flash. 10 man’s in wotlk are easier than 10 man’s in tbc
