Was supposed to be “a few weeks” not a few months. There is a bug deleting character in the warband UI that can cause a character you don’t have selected to be delete, people make mistakes and delete the wrong characters, people have their accounts compromised and have characters deleted, and various other reasons why this service is needed. How is this not a priority for Blizzard and why when someone puts a ticket in for character restoration is the policy to ignore it and say “we don’t do that as GMs”. Blizzard should disable the ability to delete characters or manually restore characters if they are not going to do that.

You will find out it is hard for anyone to give you a clear answer. They don’t like divulging that kind of privileged information.
