West coast Canada/Lower mainland/Vancouver players

Hey Nostalgia-nauts!

I’m looking for some folks from the Lower Mainland/Vancouver BC to play classic with. I figure for those of us who mesh online we can make a guild, and meet for drinks/friendship as the guild progresses and friendships are strengthened online. A little about myself: I am 35, Wrath was my hey-day, but I’ve played a little bit of each expansion since Vanilla. I, like many, was a pure amateur when I first bought vanilla, and am looking to see what my experience with newer versions have taught me. As secondary professions  I like to get out and cycle, as well as swim and resistance train.

There’s room for anyone, but I’m personally looking to treat the game fairly casually. I won’t be rushing to 60, rather enjoying the path there, the dungeons, the groups, the social aspects.

I don’t expect that everyone in our community will get on perfectly with everyone else, but I think WoW Classic is a great opportunity for me to meet other veterans of WoW who live around Vancouver!

I am afraid I don’t offer much when it comes to organising; I can set up a discord server, I can serve as advisor to a GM, but don’t have the time or energy to GM myself.
It may be that this ends up as simply a community of players from the west coast of Canada, but we can see what sort of interest there is!

Anyhow, if any of this sounds enjoyable to any others in the lower mainland, reply in this thread and we’ll see what we can get going.

Hey, I’m from the Lower Mainland

I’ve spoken with these guys over here, and this may be a decent place to socialize, since I’ve already said I’m gonna be a bum when it comes to being a GM.
