Werewolf Glyph for Gilnean Druids

So when they turn into cat form they are a big bad wolf.

Should be a thing.

Also, Undead Hunters should have a Dark Ranger glyph. (Maybe there is now? Ive been subbed out for awhile and just back).

Any others?

They gave the Dark Ranger look to ALL classes for Belfs, Nelfs and Velfs (aka Helfs).

We Worgen had to do a ritual to calm the beast within. So it would stand to reason Worgen druids could use and control pack form which is the basis of the Worgen curse. I’ve always said now that every new druid race gets a custom set of looks for the various forms Worgen should get pack form for feral, a big bad wolf look for Claws / bear form. I understand back when Worgen first came out they wanted to keep the druid look iconic but just adding manes on the cat and bear was lazy at best. Then again Blizzard was quite lazy with the first pass at Worgen as a whole. We will see one day I hope to see a Worgen looks overhaul and a lore correct size.

So they can yell “RUN AWAY, LITTLE GIRL! RUN AWAY…”? :stuck_out_tongue:

Race-exclusive glyphs aren’t a thing. They’ve always been things that modify a spell’s combat effectiveness or appearance and are the same for every race with none that can be used on multiple classes. Since worgen have had regular cat models for their Cat Form for the last 12 years, I don’t think them getting the ability to fight in worgen form and have it still be called Cat Form is on the horizon.

As in what, exactly? Your pitch is stupidly vague, we don’t know what a “Dark Ranger glyph” would entail. There are few if any abilities that Dark Rangers have that hunters can’t emulate, so anything that reskins hunter spells to DR spells would be redundant; and if it’s something that reskins the entire class through a single glyph, or even changes what the class your nameplate reads as, that’s sure as hell not happening, either.

If you want to be a Dark Ranger so damn bad, then three of the four elven races can have undead skin tones, and everyone else can wear the recently-added DR transmog and tame undead pets. That’s as close as we’re ever getting.

You mean… a Worgen?

Yeah Worgen are literally already a thing. Thanks to Druidism.

He obviously means a direwolf type form. Obviously.

The title is literally ‘Werewolf Form’ and he talks about the ‘Big Bad Wolf’, which is a werewolf, aka wolfman, which yeah, we’ve got those already.

The definition of werewolf is very fluid. In any case, what he’s asking for is a wolf form to replace cat form, because it would just make more sense.

so a glyph that makes you stay in Worgen form during cat form then, and use unarmed animations, maybe add some effect so people can tell

what are you having trouble with?

Or, hear me out, Blizzard can not waste their time and players who want to mess around in worgen form in combat can play a rogue or a warrior.

That’s like saying: “Oh, as a Night Elf I should be able to use my feral druid abilities in my Night Elf form.” it’s stupid, it makes no sense and Night Elf players can always play a monk, warrior, death knight or rogue if they want to experience combat while looking like a Night Elf.

I don’t think it would take a lot of manpower to implement. Maybe it IS stupid but who are you to decide that? If people want it, it’s worth doing - and people have been asking for that forever.

It takes almost zero effort to implement and it makes people happy, how does that affect you?

Like the glyph that let’s you take a stary version of your base form rather then normal Moonkin form.

Or they’re asking for a wolfish form similar to the werebear form that guardian gets. Big, hulking, far more feral looking then a worgan is.

I’ve been wanting this forever… Its dumb as heck that a human turns into a werewolf who turns into a cat or bear. C’mon Blizz!? Zandalari and Kul Tirans get special forms but Worgen can’t? I’d play one if this simple addon was implemented.

I’d rather they give druid a commune with animal spell to learn their form.

All beasts are already tagged for hunters as tenacity, ferocity and cunning.

If you commune with a tenacity creature, guardian form option unlocked. A ferocity creature (which includes wolves and worgs), Feral, a cunning creature, travel form.

Even if it was only a subset of hunter pets it would create so much uniqueness for each druid and save so much time each expansion because every expansion beasts are added to the hunter tameable list and now that same effort doubles as druid transmog.

Waste…waste their time? What do you think Blizzard is?

Yes… :100:

It actually wouldn’t take that much effort on their part. Just reskin the claw of shirvallah model.

<_<

Is that like people who call Undead Forsaken?

Okay now I’m confused. :dracthyr_crylaugh:
