With the lapse of folks willing to que as a tank this is a good time to suggest that blizzard either reinstate the werebear forms they gave then took away in a week (just own the mistake even if the edgelords cry) it’s okay to let people use decade old bear forms to help enjoy the game on the players own terms, it’s that or make new werebear forms for the guardian Druid, it’s the most basic entry roll tank class, would be nice to see some actual retention efforts based on players feedback, I’m not the only one who feels this way, the people getting upset over suggesting blizzard act on behalf of the players who want it shows how toxic people can still be, it’s not call for a easy power up, it’s transmog for Druids….

Good news, they made new werebear models. There are two you can get right now, refurbished mage tower gives you fel werebear and Emerald Dream gives you stone werebear.

Werebears are cool though. Not the ugly ape bears we have in wow though. They suck. I’d love a werebear like in diablo.

I got the werebear back in Legion in nothing but raid finder gear, and no legendaries, on the last day it was available – simply on a whim cuz I had nothing else to do. If you couldn’t get it back then, then idk what to tell you…
I don’t have the MoP challenge set for DK because I played a hunter at the time, and while I do want it, I think its important that the value of a thing be proportional to what it took to earn it.
No one would ever have an incentive to reach a goal if everything was just handed out as a participation trophy the next week.

Bringing back limited-time cosmetics for one tank spec isn’t going to solve any of the issues that prevent people from wanting to tank.

I hope they make new werebear forms. I like the one from the current MT more than most of the original color MT variants. The runebear is only ok though.

As much as I’m in the “bring back everything” camp, this is true.
since this is to help the tanking shortage we just have to make them available only while in guardian spec while in instanced content with a group. No point in making it available to the other specs or while soloing if this is purely to solve the tanking shortage right?
Considering y’all’s whining led to them putting in the bizarre M+ “saddles”, I guess playing the game doesn’t matter anymore. But be prepared to pay 90$ for each one of the forms, since y’all were happy with the auction house mount being “cheap” and “on the store.”
My stance is very simple: play the game to get the stuff in the game, if you miss out on time-limited stuff, then too bad. Those things should remain unavailable once you missed the timeframe to get 'em.
But considering the latest changes… hope you like stuff getting put onto the store, since that’s inevitably where these things will end up at with y’all’s whining about it.
That would be sick. We need more druid forms badly.
I don’t think it would do anything to help the tank shortage. That is a gameplay problem not a cosmetic one.

Better to ask for new forms than old ones here on the forums, you risk getting ratioed to hell for suggesting anything old MT related.
Bro I’ve been trying to get them to change it so that the restoration druids can actually use a proper tree form, but they just keep ignoring me. Apparently we’re only able to turn into the giant ancient form, not the cool regular treant form.
In reality, I think there should always be a glyph that allows you to have the cool same shape-shifting abilities as all the other specs but with healing.
I can go and pick up a talent in every other specialization that allows me to cast a spell from the other specializations and shapeshift into cat form or bear or owl… But nothing that automatically shape-shifts me into my little baby treant form.
There needs to be an option. I actually spent more time in my Treant form I ever did in my humanoid form. In fact, now that I think about it, I barely ever use my humanoid form for anything. The only exception is when I am actually playing in balance spec and I use my glyph of stars so that I look all nice and astral. And I use the tear set from. I think the sepulcher of the first ones? The cool antler looking one.
Make a gorilla bear form.

I have some mage tower appearances. From my own personal standpoint, I don’t care if people who don’t have them suddenly are allowed to get them. That’s fine!
But Blizzard explicitly promised they would never ever ever make them available to acquire after Legion’s end.
You either want Blizzard to keep their word to players or you don’t. If you don’t, nothing matters and don’t you dare ever say “but you said!” when they go back on something and it backfires for you.
If you do want them to keep their word, you won’t ever make this thread again.
Then let those people come here and whine, too.
