If the werebear forms aren’t being made available in legion remix do you really think guardian Druids will continue to subscribe? I came back to the game in WW and this singular issue has made me unwilling to play much, if you want to keep dedicated guardian Druid players around you’ll have to overturn this, I’ve unsubscribed to the game as of today, I pay you monthly for what? Gatekeeping access to old bear forms? So that a small percentage of the player base can be edgelords and gloat over something that ALL should be able to access, it’s a Druid form!!! There are so few, it’s like transmog, you keep it from people and they don’t feel rewarded or appreciated for their participation, lots of choices in the world how to spend one’s time, if you make it a gripping experience they’ll stay and proliferate that mentality, if you gatekeep we move on to things where we’re not dismissed over something that really should just be made available, not a recolor, not a giant issue, just make them available again, I’ll resume my subscription as soon as I know I can access the old werebear forms without the need for anything beyond what it once was!!! A simple time sink to aquire a Druid form!! Do the right thing for once blizzard and listen to your players!!! The successful games right now have a track record of doing what the players want, if you want to continue to hemorrhage player base and revenue ignore me, best wishes, I eagerly await the opportunity to resume my subscription due to reciprocal action from blizzard, that being said it was nice while it lasted because we all know blizzard doesn’t care! The majority of players want this but it’ll be denied and my time is now confirmed as concluded with this game.
There is still one available, the fel form one. Just requires clearing the fight at the Mage Tower.
It’s not nearly as good as the other ones, but it’s not awful either. It’s dark in color and has what looks like DH markings all over it, but it’s still a werebear.
I’d probably try a Guardian druid just for the werebear form if I had the motivation to do that fight.
It’s dumb!! They need to open access to the old forms that actually look cool, that or not and I’ll just move on and stay gone
I mean, that’s up to you, but they’re not going to open up the old MT rewards anytime soon, if ever. This remix would’ve been the time to do it, and they aren’t, so it’s pretty safe to say they’re likely gone for good.
I only obtained two MT appearances, for Frost and Fire mage. I’d love to obtain the warrior ones, but it’s so inconsequential that it doesn’t bother me to not have them.
Druids have a different situation, being locked to your forms for combat and having a couple dozen forms versus the thousands of pieces of transmog that other classes have can be frustrating, sure. But it’s really nothing to let impact your enjoyment of the game. There’s some bear forms that I think look even cooler than the werebears, but that’s just personal preference.
It impacted my enjoyment to the level of leaving!! That’s how some folks are, it’s my personal perception that also happens to be shared by almost EVERY guardian Druid active in the game, it’s gatekeeping, I won’t pay for that, they have 2 choices and the choice they made ran me off, that’s fine I have plenty of other options to spend my time, steam has plenty of great deals too, they can make it right but they refuse, it’s all about choice, mines a byproduct of lazy development who cant even read their players basic requests, it’s the easiest thing in the world, stop gate keeping Druid transmog!!!

False. You do not speak for everyone. I’ve mained bear since TBC, I didn’t even bother with the werebear forms in Legion, and I don’t regret it. I have the Feral forms though.
The werebear forms look ridiculous and dumb. There is nothing natural about the form, so it is antithetical to what a WoW druid is. There are two werebear forms still in the game to collect, the fel one from Mage Tower 2.0 and the one that drops off the world boss in Dragonflight’s Emerald Dream zone.
Yup. The “gummy bear” forms from Balance of Power artifact questline are all better than the werebears.

Yes. It’s not the most popular tank, the talent tree needs some serious love, and that new tanks having to start with their nose in the dirt is kind of discouraging. But Guardian is a staple of wow and most tanks end up rolling one.
It’s my favorite tank. I love the fantasy, the flexibility, and ungodly huge health pool I get by end of expansion.
Blizzard made a serious mistake. They waited 9 years to offer any real customization or player agency in bear forms—and then some developer built the Furlbolg (Swollbear) form. And they wasted the one amazing advance they had made in nine years as a prize to the mage tower. Time limited rewards are fine, but yea after nine years of no love for the bear, using the Swoll Furbolg shape as a time limited reward was really dumb. It started another nine years of starvation where new players see there are better options but told “yea that was a one time thing.” People resented it even before Legion ended.
They should have used the loophole in “going back” to Legion with Legion Rehash to make the form available (or at least recolors) to take some of the pressure off themselves. Just slamming that door only adds insult to injury. And the steam is rising.
Personally, I think they get it and may be working on a better path. In DF they played with letting us capture new forms and even introduces a modular (“DragonMount” like) Boomkin form that allows for customizing your animal form. Pretty sure it was at least intended at one point to come to Ferals and Guardians.
But with TWW getting truncated we missed out on RootLands (which would have been the second best place to introduce it—Emerald Dream would have been the best… or at least at the end of the Furbolg language quest).
My hope is they’re still working on a way for Druids to enjoy transmog through that tech and we’ll see modular Raptors & Cats for ferals and modular Grizzlies and Furbolgs for guardians in Midnight. When the truncated RootLands content get’s back into focus.
All I can suggest to players legitimately steaming at the lack of love for the bear is they farm up the FelBear or Spring Bear from the new mage tower or DF. The DF one has an abysmal drop rate (and doesn’t look as good), so I think you’re better off going after FelBear. Personally, I like the look (wish they would spice up interest by putting out a glyph to change the srtipe color from fell green to void violet or maybe flame red).
Thank you for your reply, I agree with you and I think that blizzard would benefit from adding form customization or at least opening up the werebear forms for collection, the fel werebear is not great in my opinion, the runebear you can collect from aurostar is okay, doesn’t hold a candle to the old forms, perhaps it’s as you said, in midnight with the new race there will be more Druid options as they seem more Druid centric overall, I won’t hold my breath, blizzard doesn’t listen to its audience and just rolls onward expecting us to throw money at broken systems, the choice stands for me, I’m gone until they address my issue directly!!

If anything makes them unsubscribe, it will be terrible content or lack of content or the pacing of content. Tuning could be another thing… but the original werebear? Pffft.
You can still get a blackish werebear from the mage tower with tattoos all over it, and try your luck for the rock werebear look from the world boss in DF.
Took a lot of weeks to finally get that thing.
I agree with you to the fullest on the Mage Tower. There’s no reason to gatekeep skins. Fortnite was known for this and then eventually allowed those rare skins to be available for everyone. There wasn’t a mass unfollowing, but rather a mass revival of players due to the skins being made available. Blizzard needs to take notes!
But as far as werebear forms I think the Aurostar werebear form is the coolest and you can still get it. Drops from a world boss in the Emerald Dream.

It’s pretty awesome, even if the whole “fel” theme is a bit antithetical to Druid. I’ve used it for years now though so I mostly dont use it anymore. Need moar skins plz
Not everyone likes that Form 
The more traditional, lore respecting, og players sign up to be Druids who turn into Bears and that’s what we’re curently doing so not getting that lore abomination will not be a deal breaker for a true druid main.
That being said, I’ll repeat what I said before… I got all MT Druid skins and I wouldn’t be mad if they come back again so I hope they are made available for new players.
