Fair enough. I was 25. Which makes me old by gaming standards now, but not so old my memory is going.
I can go third party to do one better:

First seen December 14th, 2004
it has an entry of me at level 60 on March 1, 2005 so I was demonstrably level 60 before patch 1.3 went live.
Of course, I also have the OG vanilla CE pets, although those were for sale briefly during TBC if you wanted to buy a several thousand dollar laptop.
Having Tabard of the Protector, much like you do, under Feats of Stength → Events also demonstrates I was around for the opening of the Dark Portal(TBC Launch).
Instant ding for Hero of the Zandalar Tribe on the Achievement system indicates I raided ZG extensively, but doesn’t indicate when.
instant completion of numerous Vanilla Raid items on 10/15/2008 indicates I was still packing around a lot of Vanilla era gear, or had completed certain quests, but doesn’t indicate when I did any of it. (Both were true, quests were done, and I was packing, and still have, a lot of Vanilla era gear)
I also have the Legacy Achievement for Sargent Major, so I obviously did some pvp in Vanilla, but it doesn’t indicate when I did so.
Lots of other things that could be used to infer I was around for Vanilla, but the most solid public ones are the Warcraftrealms entries, the CE pets, the PvP rank, and TBC’s opening event tabard.
I have the tabard of the protector
Does that count?
The dates on mine are weird, I really don’t know what to make of it. Considering I only actively played from Vanilla through Cataclysm launch (save trying out the new expansion for a couple weeks…).
My level 60 “Champion” achievement shows as 08/26/2011 which is obviously wrong.
Serious question, I’ve been away from WoW so long that all my characters names were deleted and instead are LegoA3D5C4 instead. Are those character’s past deeds recoverable?
That is just when you logged in and the achieve was credited to you.
Dates on legacy achievements are a bit wonky, especially the PvP one since we obviously all earned them in 2005-2006 before achievements were a proper thing.
Usually it’s the first time you logged into that character after they added achievements. I’ve seen a few people where that wasn’t always 100% accurate either, though.
Day 1 Vanilla warrior, rank 12 baby.
Mad street cred right here
Unfortunately I don’t have an extensive history on my later vanilla character.
He’s been all over the place, but here is his current armory profile:
Funny enough, he’s only revered with Zandalar Tribe, but I didn’t hit 60 on him until after the AQ gates opened.
Here’s my first raid character:
Transferred this shaman to the former character’s server and sharded all his gear to pay for the former shaman’s epic mount when server transfers came out. . Sadly his profile link is not working.
It can’t be. I had been an active 7 day a week player from TBC through the Cataclysm Launch. Well after achievements went live including the alts that also earned that title.
Was it earned on an alt you had not loaded yet?
And as some have said, the dates are a little wonky at times.
Nah, all characters I played actively. Two with that title. Wonky dates.
Hmmm… I don’t PvP, at all. In fact, I make it a point to avoid it out of principle, because I think the faction war is stupid from a lore standpoint. But there I am with the title of Scout earned at level 60. I think I accidentally got tagged with an HK or two back in the day while in a group.
I know for me, my account was hacked at some point. This was a true, for-sure hack- my account was inactive for some months during Cataclysm when suddenly I started getting emails about all these changes to my account. They re-subbed me, faction changed me, race changed me, and cleaned me out.
I came out of mothballs to fix the issue because the hackers had cleared out my friends’ guild banks and all that noise. By the time Blizzard got a handle on it and restored my toons, I was missing a lot- including some of the old FoS achievements. I had to fight with them to get them restored (back when I cared). So that could also be a reason some achievements are missing. In all, the whole legacy achievements tracking just seems wonky from the get-go. Still not a bad go-to when you’re trying to gatekeep and make sure people are “true” Vanilla players, I guess.
I have screenshots, but I don’t think Blizzard allows you to post images here.
You can upload them to a site like imgur and post a link here.
Once your “trust level” gets high enough you can embed images directly, but you have to post/read the forums for a little bit to get there.
03/05 here
It says, sorry, I can’t include links in my posts.
I had like 500 posts during Legion, but they reset the numbers or something.

Try putting `(the one above the tab key) around the link, so the link will look like this:

That worked.
