Wait void elves got the dark ranger stuff too? That doesn’t make sense, doesn’t the void counter out the reanimation that makes dark rangers? Not counting the light as they’re void elves but still
This is the issue with Blizzard and void elves. Void elves didn’t get dark ranger customization because it made sense for void elves. They got the dark ranger customization because Blizzard just tossed it on the Thalassian elf model on Alliance to cram another non-void elf theme into the race to appease more people, rather than actually give them void themed customizations. It wasn’t for people who enjoy void elves, nor for the lore surrounding void elves. It’s just because it’s another elf aesthetic that can be crammed onto void elves for the sake of vomiting another theme onto them that people can latch onto.
The evidence of that is that the finale of that quest involving people getting dark ranger customization is Calia leading dark rangers of both night elf and thalassian elf background to Alliance lands, thereby suggesting it had nothing to do with void elves. It was just to provide dark rangers who consider themselves to be more aligned with humans and their ideals post-Sylvanas a means of joining the Alliance.

Seems there’s a great deal more female Dark Rangers then male. And I was talking about Blood Elf males (or High elf)
Eh, I don’t know. I like the bow animations on male. Got a Link vibe from legend of Zelda. Prefer the Feign death and trapping animations on Female.
If those noodles were from my sister’s tuna surprise casserole… it would be quite effective. It would also be a war crime.

I wish they’d refer to the kaldorei version as Dark Sentinels. Sira got to be called a Dark Warden after all. And it would be good to differentiate. Dark Ranger is just too engrained in my mind as a high/blood elf thing.
