Welcome to class balance, all it takes to kill you is a corruption and agony. BG’s will be fun with so many mages locks will cheese the first 10 ranks.
He may have thought vampiric embrace and or shadow weaving was also a dot.
Mages are great and all. Until you meet a lock or spriest.
Which is fine. I have no problem with that. Some people seem to express otherwise. I was just curious what the strategy would be to become competitive against them at least.
And I seem to have my answer. I appreciate help from any that has given it!
run, is the only strategy mage can’t kill a dot class. IMO and experience people say mage is op until endgame then reroll to a class that owns them outright when pvp get’s big.
It’s very hard to do, uphill battle for sure.
Well, I was thinking more of the long game, run them OOM while going in and out of combat during sheeps. I just need to find a Spriest that wants to duel for a while to practice it.
yo will go oom first, priest and lock have better mana than mage.
I carry mana pots though. Evocate, mana gem, mana pots after CD. You don’t think that is enough?
mana burn/drain mana.
Long game the way you’re describing doesn’t really exist unless you’re by yourself in wpvp or something. Realistically most of your pvp endeavors will be group content for one reason or another.
Are you, a mage, really complaining about having a bad match-up in a 1v1 scenario?
Please roll Warrior and tell me how sad you feel.
Bruh. We need to burn Swift pots, Free-action pots, and engi trinks just to stay in the game. You’re fine. SPriests/Demo Locks are just borked duelists.
I mean, on Stalagg there really is always another Horde around the tree literally right next to you, so yea good point lol.
Shadow priest melt faces
Played a Warrior for 8 years, starting in early Vanilla. K? I am not complaining. I am asking for tips. But sure, be salty in an otherwise peaceful thread. Bye.
“Bruh” you’re misreading the OP genuinely asking questions and looking for advice for being upset about not being able to 1v1 someone.
Chillax.
It will be even worse in group content, because now the lock/spriests is tab target dotting the entire team.
This is the advice I’m imparting. It’s not him. It’s the class’s toolkits making them a nightmare to 1v1 for anyone.
That’s where the sword spec warrior with WF totem comes into play >:)
Just make sure we’ve got a healer.
Shadow Priests are king in WoW, you can’t beat them
