Good, good. Go back home alliance turn coats.
lol what?

lol what?
i realized my mistake after posting that i should have said since they added BGs and not since the start of classic, but no joke i anticipated a hordie would correct me even if it was obvious what I meant. and if I was posting on a horde alt then it probably would have been an Alliance who corrected me lel
Umm… literally every single person knew it would get THAT bad. You chose to join the faction of neck beard sweaty try hard pvpers likely because you are one yourself
mercenary mode would be an easier and cheaper fix
It wouldn’t fix anything. Horde would likely not use it much, and it’d hurt Alliance.
Well there’s really no CD. Because in my plan faction changes are only one way. You can go horde to alliance, but not alliance to horde. There is no going back in 3-6 months.
Thats true and sounds fair for most servers.
Really? Sure about that? In retail, Horde overpowers in PvP. To feel it wouldn’t have somewhat of the same outcome here would be ridiculous.
Lots of folks rolled Horde because they’re in too deep with the racials… It was sort of inevitable.
Honestly the only people who should care about racials are the sweaty tipidy top pvp players who can use them properly within their skillset.
In the vast majority of pvp, such as battlegrounds, racials make little difference since the majority of pvp is whoever can streamroll in a blob better.
Personally, I think instead of “racials” every person should be able to pick from a list of “base skills” (that is the same for both factions), allowing people to customize their character a bit more. But I suppose that is too RP for people playing a MMORPG.
That is a great suggestion for Retail, but irrelevant for Classic. We are playing the game how it WAS, warts and all.
lol no we are not. we are playing a facsimilie of how part of TBC was in a particular patch with gated content.
But I am aware that ship sailed long ago.
I rolled horde cause they looked cooler. Id rather not have more microtransactions though imo if a faction change is added loads of horde would go ally to get gear then what? Now Horde has faster ques since a bunch of people went ally.
Let me guess, you thought things would get better for Horde after the introduction of Blood Elves as far as queues go?
Horde side is great if you don’t care about wpvp and battlegrounds but if you want to participate in arena, raids and dungeons. Horde isn’t so bad in that regard, lots of people to play with on Horde side.
You already have a faction change button.
If you log out, its right under the character list, and is labeled ‘Create New Character’ in bright red and yellow.
You could say that about everything in the game. Look at retail raiding, there’s like 2-3 guilds that actually develop strats and comps. Yet every guild copies those strats and comps because “that’s how method did it”.
For classic you’re 100% right. The racials only matter if you’re actually good enough to take advantage of them, and a vast majority of players are not. Same way 15+ dps warriors were not required to clear naxx, but that’s what the top guilds did, so everyone else copied it thinking it’s the only way.
Well something Is gona happen so be prepared
I think those are planned for WotLK Classic.
I picked Horde because when I played 15 years ago it was Horde that had Instant queues and I figured it would be the same this time around. How was I supposed to know the meta flipped 180°
I like how not one person has also added that part of the reason for such imbalance is out of player control. In between classic and TBC blizzard added a boost - which allows any mega min maxer to reroll the FOTM class/race combo that is most op for both PVE/PVP. Its known that a lot of former alliance players who were virtue signaling last expansion came and joined original hordes for those juicy racials. Its not surprising given that many sweaty PVErs only rolled alliance in classic for the Paladin advantage. ( im also looking at the influx of 10x as many hunters/warlocks) so this was a problem for PVE as well as PVP. Dont be naive to why there was such a massive change in queue times from classic to tbc.
