The only people who liked it that I have seen or heard of were most of the cast.
and I can’t remove chance of nda or career politics from that.
they want the a paying gig in the future so they go oh, you just didn’t get it. as they walk away going yeah…I want that phone call for a sequel if it happens to make more money.
why I like halle berry. Not only did she accept her razzie for catwoman. she showed up to make an acceptance speech. and cut down every aspect of the movie. I got paid and that’s it folks. I can relate. 31years of paid labor. many things done for one reason. Keep the pay checks flowing. it was stupid but it was money.
They really need to phrase it better since it says 5 years after the start of SL. Which really means it’s 3 years later.
And 3 years is a fine time skip, the Cataclysm time skip was 2 years. With wars and end of the world stuff back to back, we all could probably use like, a break.
Seriously, we’ve been flying by the seat of our pants every single year. “Man, Deathwing almost cracked the planet apart, I need a drink…Oh wait, the lost continent of Pandaria has appeared and now we’re fighting the Horde…wow Garrosh almost destroyed the Horde with a civil war, and the Alliance found their honor not to destroy their enemy when they were down, we need to all sit down and have a drink…oh crap, Garrosh has traveled to another alternate timeline and raised an army of united Pre-Dark Portal Orcs full of Goblin Tech to invade us…Oh man I’m so glad we took care of that, we’re finally back in our own timeline, in our rightful place, gonna get that drink…What do you MEAN the Legion has opened the portal directly to funnel into our planet and swarm us to death with demons?”
Given that Draenei live for tens of thousands of years (none have even died of old age yet), 5 years would probably not have any noticeable impact for you.
Honestly, there should have been bigger gaps between all the expansions since most have supposedly only been a year apart, I think. That’s kinda insane with all the fighting and big threats to the planet we’ve dealt with.
This should have been a breather expansion where we fix up the darn planet.
I think that while us heroes were running around in the Afterlife, the people left behind had to deal with a mini Scourge invasion do the Helm of Domination being destroyed. So no rest for them either.
But, with everything sorted out in the Afterlife we should be coming back to help clean up any remaining Scourge and trying to start rebuilding before galloping off to the Dragon Isles.
Maybe those two kids in Stormwind that have been stealing each other’s toys and chasing each other around Trade District for 18 years will finally grow up.
