I haven’t q’d in a while , I remember why I stop PvPin, go 5-1 and gain 0 rating then the 1 I lost is because of MC DC. Go 4-2 after and gain 0 rating. Then go 3-3 and lost 42 rating. How does any of this make sense wtf. People dying in 1 sec and evoker doing stupid insane damage. Trash. How can a healer climb am I suppose to 6-0 every lobby to gain rating.
Fix the damn MC DC already why is this a thing multiple xpacs come on blizzard.
Really though, how do healers gain rating? are you guys climbing going 6-0 every lobby or something??

its really hard to climb as a healer

are the people climbing going 6-0 every lobby or something?
they are consistently going 4-5-6 at their mmr/cr and higher, and probably doing really well into any games where the enemy healer is a bit lower. just takes a lot of games.
I’m not sure I believe this to be honest. That seems a little extreme lol. What cr are you and what mmr were these games?

Semi-related but I think round credit may not be given if somebody leaves instantly. Went 1-2 the other day, then upon winning the forth and bringing me up to 2-2 somebody dipped instantly after dying and I got a little -9 which is about how much I should get for a single loss.
No, just consistently positive.
Idk I’ve seen very similar screenshots. MMR is kind of f’d for healers.
yeah im not even replying to that guy wtf would I lie, I just want them to fix this sh*t
For the most part I’m always positive with at least 4 wins, I’m 1973cr 55 wins out of 90 rounds overall but my MMR is only 2k. I’ve also been 0-6 1 time and 2-6 1 other time. I’m just confused about going 5-1 and gaining 0 rating or 3-3 and losing 42 rating. I did just go 5-1 and gain 58 rating so now im even more confused.
a lot of players took advantage of minimal punishment on leaving to game their mmr
they wouldn’t accept more than a loss or 2, otherwise they just leave the lobby lose a bit of cr and NO mmr, so when they do find a lobby they sweep they get huge cr for it, much more than what was lost leaving games
supposedly fixed as of last week though, at least I haven’t seen anyone complaining about it since
early on top healers were abusing leaving ang maintaining their mmr.
Stupid me, I’ve never left a single shuffle
Early ones especially where you go horribly negative are the worst to recover from. I went 3-3 twice on one char because healer diff and it’ll take a decent chunk of games to climb out whereas my other char went 6-0 and starts at 2000-2100 mmr.
I get that they need to get the huge players out of newbie mmr asap but the swings seem a little unforgiving.
Also had a DH who kept apologizing because he was in a 2200-2300 mmr match because he went 10-2 in his initial 2 games despite no arena exp.

I haven’t really been following arena too much, so I don’t know what’s average for healers. is 55 rounds won out of 90 bad?
Nope. It’s just that people who dodged mega scuffed matches avoid having to play as much. There’s also a bit of leeway in terms of matchmaking so sometimes it seems that a low mmr healer gets lobbed in with a higher one and the higher one is basically forced to lose some mmr.
yeah it seems as though 90% of my games the healer is both lower cr and mmr than me
now imagine all that but also not being the resto druid

welcome to the joys of blizzards absolutely garbage rating system.
That reminds me I’m going to set up my resto druid tonight lol
elo hell is real its as simple as that

I’m just saying that example is crazy to me unless the mmr was way, way lower than your cr. That’s why I asked.
I mean surely there’s no way you’re 19XX at 2k mmr and gaining nothing for a 6-0. I just can’t see, coming from someone who played a healer a bit this season too.
I mean ultimately I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be confrontational. I know sometimes you get crap lobbies, but in that case the issue is “why does blizz pair me with lobbies 300mmr below me” instead of “why do I never gain rating for no reason?” I’m just trying to decipher is all.
