Currently i’m doing the oronic event and the dagger is the only on which cover: intellect, haste, mastery as primary stats in that order, should i buy 2 daggers? Doesnt sounds right.

Either a 2h staff, or a mainhand (IE: int dagger/int sword) + offhand, whichever gives you the most stats.

Always go main hand off hand babe even I replaced my higher ilvl staff for the stats. And make sure to transmog your off hand to skull of the man’ari too, couldn’t imagine my lock without my floating friend

You can’t dual-wield daggers, you aren’t a rogue.
If you’re using a 1H + offhand, the offhand has to be labeled specifically as an offhand, not a 1hander

So i guess its 1 dagger + scepter? still sounds weird but those are the best stats.
A wand sound more logical for a mainhand here, but it doesnt have the best stats…
For the most part, it comes down to which combo gives you the most int.
Also, demo stats are weird, and almost every time I do a gem/enchant sim it gives me different results.
What aboud distance? the wand is the only one who has that feature…
Perhaps is wand + scepter? instead of dagger + scepter?
you don’t use your weapon attack at all as a warlock in retail.
your weapon(s) are just stat-sticks

Go into lfr a few times. Yeah the usual explanation of poor performance can be explained by sandbagging by lazy players. However its likely better explained by players who have just put in enough time to push themselves to max level and got gear through happenstance enough to participate in things.
Not their fault, but rather blizz not really being clear on how classes are meant to be played currently and people just rolling off what they were used to doing years prior.
Had a recent talk with a new guild member returning from legion who was confused about how their class played and I just said, dump out everything you know and embrace how it is now.
What? Arent they exact same amount of stats like staff?? If you arent clearing mythic raid for higher ilvl items from later bosses i would recomend staff since its easier to get your hands on one item isntead of two and at this point od the patch even crafting 2h is better since the sparks are plentifull and almost irrelevant to the point where farming crests for 2x enchanted crest for main hand and off hand is more grind.

In the current state of the game, the technically bis weapon for Demo is the Sarkareth staff.
I thought so too but due to rounding error they are off by 1. My MH/OF has 1 less haste, 1 less mastery, and 1 more stam. Same int.
When I simmed it though MH/OF came out 15 dps higher than a 2 handed staff. Weird.
That’s within the margin of error for the sim, which means that they are basically identical.
Because i’ve been playing SWTOR for 11 years.
but not only that i just started playing WOW since last February and i already have all the dps classes with purple gear.
Still there are things on this game that i still don’t get. The weapons is one of those, not sure if i should use a dagger or go with the staff (the dagger has better stats but the wand seems more logical and has distance to a warlock).
There is also 450 offhand from echo. So thats for his question what is better…crafting? Staff…drops ? staff. But i doubt he is clearing mythic cutting edge bosses based on his questions…so the answer is to craft a staff.

Well my question was never related to crafting, i’m not crafting anything just buying the item from the new event vendor.
Nah im still not riding but planning too… that’s one reason for the question.
I agree with the staff drops being more common. However the staff stats for that particular vendor are NOT the optimal not only for lock but either for evoker devastation… so im confussion remains…
Oh ye …mb…if youre planning on upgrading your gear beyond that i wouldnt stress too much about stats. If you get a staff you dont have to worry about finding second item.

Thanks all, yeah that’s what i got at the end the staff (although not optimal only the develops know why they changed the stats).
Im planning to do the hardest content on this game pretty much NEVER, i’m not a hard mode guy (im not into the drama) but I AM interested on doing all the Story Mode raids.
I want to be pretty decent geared for those, i wonder if full purple 410 is enough…
