If there’s still a queue today I’ll just keep leveling on Angerforge, unless it starts becoming Horde favored.
It’s all a sham to get your $25 transfer, if you don’t realize that you deserve the dead server.
The game was literally unplayable during the only time of day many people could even play on weekdays. But by the time Angerforge came out, many people were already high enough level that they didn’t want to have to start over again on a new server.
Now, people who can’t play on Skyfury during the peak queue hours can just transfer their character to the other fresh realm. And should do so before the end of the month, because I guarantee that Wrath launch will be completely unplayable on most high-pop realms for many.
well i just checked realmpop and skyfury is still 8.1k ally 5.4k horde and angerforge is still dead so. Don’t think many care about the transfer.
I had an 80 minute queue yesterday at 6PM server time.
So what I’ve learned from these topics and from LFG chat is I should just bail on this alt now and not waste my time, and instead just hope for an actual fresh pvp server
Preferably an RP-PvP server
I was SO jealous of Firemaw EU back then while it was balanced, so this whole event floored me.
The best part is, they all went for free because of an oversight.
Missed opportunity for transfer revenue x 7000 KEK
Which was fine, but they need to monitor it and close them when appropriate.
Just letting people transfer willy-nilly and hoping for the best was not the way to handle it.
Are queue times no longer a thing? I fell sooo far behind on skyfury because of that
I mean I read this and knew this was all going to happen. Fresh they were going to open up transfers out of server and back in eventually from mega servers.
People will transfers there insane amounts of gold from Bene to Skyfury no doubt.
When the boosts come on the server which they will I can imagine thousands of people won’t be happy.
For Skyfury, I think they still have it.
Though today they just allowed people from Sky to move over to Angerforge.
So Sky might be dead soon lol.
Word! It all depends on peoples definition of dead. 6000± active players during peak time is a okay for me
If the inevitable player behavior to having more than 1 realm is to dominate it with 1 faction, maybe it’s because PvP realms suck.
Other than the occasional fair skrimish (which can be accomplished with dueling anyway), it’s just an unfair, unfun gank fest.
Holy crap that’s even worse than Benediction at peak o.O
Right now angerforge has a 60% ally ratio.
Skyfury about the same, Hordes in skyfury are not transfering off.
If anything, as asmond is transfering to anger, allies will be the ones transfering off
I’m getting on Angerforge rn with a new character to ask if its cool if I bring in 2 level 70s from Skyfury. Lol lets see what people say (I dont have 2 level 70s)
oh they angry. real angry lmao. i said ok ill just xfer 1.
Yeah that’s about the experience I saw
“SCREW TRANSFERS YOU’RE ALL RUINING THE SERVER GO BACK TO KEKFURY hey can you come by the Crossroads and run out these guys camping the quest hub pleasssssse?”
it might be the most spicy chat of any wow server right now.
We should send our full brutal geared dual glaive wielding rogues over from skyfury (and yes we do have some) that should clear out the angerforge horde nicely.
