I’ve really been enjoying it, I’m a casual so my guild just killed raz normal and we’re moving on to heroic, but I re-rolled to rogue. Still haven’t capped rep even except for the black dragons which are the easiest ones to get.

You are allowed to take breaks from games after you finish everything they have to offer.
MMOs are no different with patch cycles.

I don’t mean to be rude, but this is just what an MMO is. If you’ve done all the content you want to, then maybe taking a break is a good thing. It doesn’t make it a bad expac and you can explore other activities or classes in game if you wanted. Push higher keys, try a new class, farm pets! Or, just take a break. I think a game can still be good and enjoyable even if you aren’t playing it 100% of the time.

I do not want to suddenly interject with FFXIV, but the developers of that game actively encourage their players to take breaks.
That unfortunately is not something WoW has been known to do, but it is per player prerogative. Play however you want and come back later; the expansion has barely begun.

Oh, I know that, but in terms of the game’s design; many people have been made to feel they need to play constantly, lest they have difficulty catching up.
Fortunately, it seems that may be better now in DF.

Yeah.
I got KSM and immediately lost all desire to keep playing tbh. I wasn’t planning on immediately bowing out, in my head I at least wanted to go for Heroic Raid average ilvl (since that’s the content I used to do, back when it didn’t feel so worthless). But I got that achievement and just, boom, done. Haven’t logged on in weeks.

I’ve been in the honeymoon phase since 2009. Yay my name change finally went through, took a week or so.
Not quite time for a divorce just yet, I think there is a huge secret in Timeless Isle that has not been discovered that will unlock flying for the whole zone and for all players. (The same could be true for Korthia) Just rearrange the letters of weird named mobs for clues. Cinderfall = Find Cellar etc…

I had the “ok… now what” moment this morning too. I been havign a blast with other games since december so it’s kinda hard to go back to the “atmosphere” of warcraft’s development cough timegating cough when I could play so many other games and just… ya know… play them…
I dunno I feel like this expansion was made exclusively for M+ people, everyone has their preferences, feel like I’m getting ripped off paying 15 bucks at this point despite all the history with this wonderful game… I guess it was worth a month’s sub time to be sure though! Silver linings!
