You guys already couldn’t keep non-flying mini pets summoned after flying, and now even flying mini pets despawn after dragonriding. So, I guess that it then, no real point in trying to keep our pets out, other than frustration. A+

My minions disappear half of the time after dragon riding too. Kind of annoying to have to keep lighting candles, burning incense and chanting into the nether every time I dismount just so Pipnip, my imp, can come back and dance around with me.

Pipnip can eat an ogres backside. Tombmuncher/multiple random name ghoul is vastly superior.
Yeah wtf is with that? We should have dedicated ghoul names, DKs are definitely the types to play favorites after all

Ive wanted naming ghouls as well as taming undead/demons for a long time. It wouldn’t be hard to have current stable masters utilizing the stable mechanic or even add a stable guy to acherus for dks and dreadscar rift for locks.
Theres so many potential undead and demons that im positive would be greatly received if we could tame em.

There’s an addon that automatically calls a mini-pet as soon as you move if you don’t have one. (you can also tell it to not call a pet if you’re stealthed, or in a PvP environment, and a bunch of other options).
Maybe that would be a good choice for you? It’s called Livestock, and it’s pretty much the only addon that I MUST have if I’m going to play WoW.

Unfortunately even with the toy they cannot keep up 
They are stuck flying at boring old walking speed and you just zoop away~ Maybe they don’t understand drakes as a flying mount? Maybe they don’t get their speed buff until flying unlocks? It’s a mystery!
I will have to pick this up again, haven’t had it in forever but it’s a good solution for now!

I always keep mine out while dismounted or on the ground.
Not all pets fly so I guess I’ve already gotten used to it, lol.
I just wish I didn’t have to re-summon them so much, instead have it like hunter pets where they are pretty much always out, even if you logout.
Also, put the mini pets on the characters’ login screens as well, lol. Would be neat.

Saddest part about this is that at one point in WoW’s past, I don’t remember what expansion exactly, they had it down. Mini pets got resummoned automatically when landing, and it worked fine.
Then they broke it, and it just stayed broken. Only flying pets stayed summoned (usually). Years later they tried to “fix” it by adding items that let non-flying mini pets fly instead of having them resummon like they should.
And now in DF no mini pet survives dragonriding.
Pets not resummoning after I fly to the next world quest is driving me crazy. I have to do 5 world quests with my snowfeather hatchling out for a mount, but the snowfeather hatchling keeps disappearing and I don’t get credit half the time.
