Actually everyone who has the water strider gets the water walking equipment for free and will have access to a much cheaper versions than players without the rep if they want to buy more

You’re funny, there’s no way I’m playing any MMO besides WoW because none of them are as diverse as WoW is.
Then leave the game if you dislike it so much.

. When you’ve done all the story and you’re up to a piddling quota everyday, FFXIV is very dull.

People are always suggesting that another RPG is gonna kill WoW. What people fail to realize is that WoW is the shining example of an MMORPG, and you just wont have the same experiences in another RPG than you will with WoW.

Yeah I just cant even. Sometimes I wonder what these people crying actually want. It seems anything that’s done is automatically shot down without question or logic.

Hes right though… the last raid better have 12 bosses or it will just look lazy, an entire xpac and only 30-40 bosses?
I agree. 8.2 looks like a lot of fun to me. I’ve been putting down their decisions quite a lot, but 8.2 finally looks good. Of course, no matter what, people will complain about something.

The world doesn’t revolve around you and your collection tab. Other people play this game and we don’t all have 749 mounts like you. Some of us like the idea of being able to use our favorite mounts in situations we may not be able to. This is a win.
…yet. There will be a class tuning pass for 8.2. But it’s kinda silly to expect an entire class overhaul mid expansion.
As opposed to having AP just given to you because you’re such a cutie pie? Grinds are at the core of MMOs. No one rational was expecting free boosts. And what “universal ability” are you talking about? Because the central part of the new HoA system seems to be about options and customization based on roles and situations.
I’d rather have an improvement to the entire Warfront system instead of just releasing another 20 minute zerg fest. Better warfronts, not more warfronts.

Aside from telling a story, rewarding rep, rewarding AP, rewarding gear, rewarding pets and toys and mounts. Yes, quests in an online RPG are a total fail. It’s like a sports game that keeps score.
And a follower/bodyguard? Who in their right mind would want a customizable NPC that you can get to know, level up, use in new interesting ways, and provide buffs and bonuses in that grindy content? I like my content as boring and samey as possible too.
I remember when ICC released with 37 bosses. It took three full weeks just to walk from one end of the raid to the other. Granted, about 12 of those bosses were clones of one another. And none were all that exciting. But that doesn’t matter! More bosses = more fun! It’s like how putting more cheese on everything makes it better.
As well as everything else. Again, not about you. Some of us are looking forward to things you may not be.
One of a choice of dozens of new non-generic abilities that you can swap and use in a variety of combinations.
Status…improved.
Better azerite grind with better rewards and more sources of AP. Status…improved.
The revamp sounds like a big improvement as well. WQs that don’t just spawn on a simple 24 hour timer. Rares that are actually rare. Content that takes some time to actually complete. Content that takes some work. Status…much improved.
This is a player created problem. The tools are there to play in a manner other than rushing. But it’s up to you to convince your teammates to do it. It’s kinda like getting an LFR group to pay attention to mechanics. Don’t claim the mechanics aren’t there just because people would rather ignore them. Status…check yo’self.
Were you expecting a waterslide? The increased difficulty does sound more fun. It sounds like you need to employ actual TEAMWORK in order to not lose. Status…much better.
Again, mid expansion you expect a major overhaul to a central system of the entire game? But I’d argue that the problem isn’t as bad as your whining makes it sound. Gear is not irrelevant. If you think so, I suggest stripping your character naked and joining the M+ queue or a pug raid.
I’m actually looking forward to the high degree of customization options between AZ gear, the HoA perks, the Mechagong trinket, and whatever else they have in store.
Many things were addressed. But when you have your head stuck somewhere dark and smelly I imagine it’s hard to see it. I bet you didn’t even notice that you are getting a free mount for completing pathfinder 2.
Blizzard could buy everyone a free pizza and the players would complain about the color of the box.

I know youre kidding but… wrath having ulduar and ice crown citadel really does stomp on the raids we get today,
which are pretty short… first two this xpac have been a little circle with trolls in it and a main city with jaina running around.
