Mount items… yea don’t care I already have mounts that do those things.

No new class abilities or changes

Basic generic grind more ap for a universal ability…

not even a new warfront just a heroic version of the same garbage…

More islands… pass

More quests that will be completely as useless as they are now but you get to level a follower… pass

EIGHT BOSS RAID… seriously… what the actual funky bones… so we go backwards in boss count… lmfao…

what else what else…

i guess the new raid/dungeon/area will be the actual content… oh well…

things they needed to address:

Boring Classes - Gave us one new stupid generic ability…Status… NOT FIXED

Boring Azerite grind - Gave us… boring azerite grind STATUS… NOT FIXED…

Revamp world quests and the world to make it relevant he entire time and not just for the first two weeks… they gave us… more quests without any actual fix… Status … NOT FIXED.

Fix Islands to make them fun and not about rushing… they just gave us more themed islands… status… NOT FIXED

Make war fronts fun…they just increased the difficulty… status NOT FIXED…

Fix titan forging garbage and gear becoming irrelevant really fast… not even a peep… status… NOT FIXED.

Honestly… I’m raid logging now and a shorter raid will most likely not do it for me anymore. They are going to lose everyone else to FFXIV or other games tbh… all fluff… nothing major was addressed as per fricken usual.

I realize bashing Blizzard is the thing to do these days but 8.2 sure looks promising to me, you’re not even giving it a chance and making assumptions based on a high level video. Perhaps you should stay over in FFIV land, clearly you’re not happy here.

Ion’ has done nothing but prune and prune since he became lead for Wow.

Legion was a fluke of accidental successes. BFA mirrors his first design direction, WOD.

A washed out wow player trying to pretend he is an expert because of the “legacy” of elitists jerks under his belt.

agree with OP as well.

However, I did not expect to hear about class balance on a stream unless it was a major overhaul which would only occur in an xpac beta. So we will see about class design with the new azerite abilities and we will see about class balance once this is all data mined on Tuesday.

The rest of the stuff though, OP is dead on.

Class design and heavy-handed rng are two of BfA’s biggest problems and 8.2 is addressing neither (I wasn’t expecting it to).

While I think the 8.2 content is going to be interesting and I’ll definitely check it out, those two issues drag down the game for a lot of people.

Well I wouldn’t say its a total bust. There are a few things in 8.2 that I’m more excited for than the entire announcement of BfA. But at the same time I’m not going to give it a pass at first glance.
