So let me get this straight
You make WQs completely optional but then decide we can only do them every 3 days
You completely remove the optional daily emissaries
Reputation activities only give rewards weekly
You can do a few quests for centaurs every 3 days
That’s it
DF has near zero repeatable daily content for people who don’t m+ or raid. This expansion is going to flop hard. The disillusionment is going to hit everyone very very soon
This is supposed to inspire you to do mythic raiding and push high keys. Are you feeling it?
Or maybe its ok to accomplish some goals and sign off without feeling like you’re missing out on an endless treadmill?
They listened to the players who wanted an older (pre-legion) style wow expansion.
You can also do nothing without paying a monthly fee.
You can thank Classic players who wanted retail to be more like how it used to be. Raid or die.
They’re probably not even playing DF.

actually my favorite part of this expansion is that i dont have to do anything i don’t want to. I love pvp, mining herbing, war mode, crafting, flying, why would i care about how much rewards i can get in a certain time peroid who cares im having a blast and I will continue to.
Professions are the grind your looking for.
The opposite of whatever the wow dev team has delivered at any particular moment.
So, it’s addressing the very thing that people have been complaining about for years and that there’s not an infinite treadmill to farm that if you decide you don’t want to play you immediately fall behind?
Pretty sure they’ve been fairly open about that.

Trying to make heads or tails of what GD wants is an exercise in futility. Even they don’t know.
The season hasn’t started yet so you can’t do primal storms yet. Once you can, that will be a large source of your open world playtime.
Beyond that though… isn’t this what you guys asked for? You didn’t want to feel like you needed to do anything.
I had some hope of some new contents… It is still the same mythic plus ( the dungeon are toxic as hell), raid and arena. I brought this expansion because of solo que but still kind dissapointed… Warlord of Draenor 2.0
This might sound very foreign, but, you don’t actually have to spend all of your free time playing WoW. Other things exist. Other games exist.

No, you can thank Ion for wanting to take the worst of classic and combine it with the worst of their template driven infinite grind modern design, and imagining this will bring back the “community” of guilds run by tyrants who would only allow players to access to content if they were part of the inner circle.
Well, it’s not so much they don’t know, it’s just that the playerbase isn’t a monolith. Some want things one way and some want things another way.
That’s just showing how fractured the player base is imo. It could be due to bliz trying to cast such a wide net. Trying to please everyone leads to not truly pleasing anyone. No matter what they do a good number of people will probably hate it.

I no longer feel obliged to farm anything.
since I don’t have to farm anything, this gives me time for other activities in and out of the game.
since WoD I don’t consider the idea of using an Alt. It’s just too time consuming to farm AP or any other layer of power.
