Well, we're in Microsoft town now

Have they fired all the abk staff yet?

They already have full controller support. I dont see it being too far out honestly.

Nope, Bobby K is here to stay :kaugh:

Bobby is “staying on for the rest of 2023” but then he’s out at some point after that.

We can all rejoice for today is a brighter day. Our house might still burn down, but we will be free of that tyrant, which is a victory all its own.

I dream of there being some powerfull people in charge with unlimited resources burning to get this game turned around and giving it all the resources it deserves because we know they can. Part of me the realistic part thinks its just gonna be handled as crappy as it has but one can dream

Playing with zero add ons?

That sounds horrible.

Don’t forget id Software is part of Microsoft too.

Having controller support is so far away from console support.

Maybe, maybe not. The US government still has a lawsuit against the merger (that will probably fail) and a hearing on Dec. 6th. I hope MSFT can do a better job than clown Kotick.

I’m excited partly because Microsoft will definitely do more with Warcraft and Starcraft than Blizzard did. A single player Warcraft RPG is something I could see happening with Microsoft, while that would’ve never happened under old management.

On the other hand, the way Microsoft has handled their first-party studios since their blitz of acquisitions hasn’t been great. So we’ll see. It could improve.

Microsoft also owns Zenimax and by extension Bethesda. When is the Elder Scrolls cross over?

Everybody nay saying need to relax, microsoft wont do anything to wow that activision hasn’t done or is in the process of doing already. if you are fine with the state of the game now and the direction its going in then i doubt anything will change with microsoft. People are acting like Blizzard hasn’t been swallowed up by a large corporate entity before. SSDD.

Yeah I want the lusty argonian maid in WoW

Which means microsoft owns 2 mmorpgs that are in the top 5 most played (maybe top 3?).

Sony was only worried about Call of Duty being available on their platform. MMOs are so last decade.

Now Anduin can marry Master Chief! /s

Blizzard’s been making a solid run at killing off WoW all by themselves, the last few years.

And don’t forget this key bit - Bobby Kotick will step down at the end of 2023.

As per the guidelines of these forums, I have no personal opinion as to that piece of information :dracthyr_tea:
